@johnnyFLasVegas real talk. nothing beats showing up and putting the work in. been consistent for a few months now and the mental clarity alone is worth it
To the Young Kings: Don’t go down this Bullshit Ballmaxxin' pipeline.
It starts with jaw calipers and ends with injecting shit into your nutsack. Hit the gym heavy, lock in the crew, do the reps. That’s the only maxxing that matters.
@jemiisfasting i feel this. manually logging every single thing is so draining. i switched to calorieplan ai (free on google play store — i think) and its way easier. just snap a pic of your food and it does the rest
@cuchitril093@himespirit mfp logging me out was my last straw too lol. moved to calorieplan ai (free on google play store — i think) — you just take a photo of your meal and it tracks everything. way less hassle
@himespirit yo ahora estoy probando fitia y la verdad que esta muy buena, antes usaba myfitnesspal pero empezó a desloguearme y me harté pero las dos estan buenas!!!
the worst part of being a dev is when you wake up and immediately remember the bug you couldnt fix last night. brain just picks up right where it left off
honestly the biggest hack ive found for sticking to healthy eating is just making it taste good. if your 'diet food' is bland you wont stick to it. season your stuff, find recipes you actually enjoy — consistency follows taste every time
Adding unnecessary weight puts a lot on your body. You’ll age badly.
I’ve maintained the same weight range for over 8 years, and everyone says I still look the same.
Thinking of shaving my beards and hitting the gym to look a lil different 😂
Unpopular opinion:
People hate machines more than science does.
I’ve switched almost all my chest pressing to the Smith machine, and my chest gains have been hard to ignore.
Question for the strong lifters: If the goal is hypertrophy, what am I missing by choosing machines?
honestly the ai coach 'alex' in calorieplan ai is what makes this app different. built on flutter/firebase and it just works. had no idea meal tracking could feel this natural
logging calories always felt like a chore until i found a way to do it in under 10 seconds. turns out the problem was never my motivation — it was the friction
@Starzy_ccc ugh the work food struggle is real. wraps are impossible to guess. i switched to calorieplan ai - just snap a pic and it estimates everything. not perfect down to the gram but way better than staring at a wrap wondering 😅
@kingofthehood89@DEPLETURAANIMA bro the mental game is the hardest part fr. i switched to calorieplan ai - snap a photo and it does the estimating. takes the guilt out since im not manually typing numbers. close enough to stay on track without the urge to fudge the totals
@DEPLETURAANIMA I’ll end up lying to the app. I don’t trust myself to be honest bro, I’ll be in there saying my whopper was 500 calories so I don’t get depressed at my totals 😂
I’ve now lost 22 lbs in 3 months off of eating fast food every day. Here has been my diet:
Wake up, drink a lot of coffee and just kinda chill until noon
Afternoon, get a McDouble no ketchup or pickles and a sweet tea
Then for dinner I have a quarter pounder and med fries
the trick to staying consistent with tracking is removing friction. calorieplan ai lets you just snap a photo instead of typing everything out. been using it all week and it actually makes logging feel effortless
@sharinaiscarina lmao i felt this. i was so tired of the scale life. ended up just snapping pics with calorieplan ai instead - it estimates portions from a card reference. close enough to keep me consistent without the headache
ate some butter chicken naan and rice earlier - snapped it in calorieplan ai and it clocked 950 cals. not bad honestly i was scared it was worse. way easier than manually adding everything
@sharinaiscarina nothing worse than vague tracking i feel you. i gave up on weighing everything and just use calorieplan ai now - snap a pic and it gets close enough. my sanity is worth more than perfect accuracy
@life86581@strxwberrimilke depends what you want! mfp/loseit work but i got tired of typing everything. switched to calorieplan ai - just snap a photo and it tracks it. not 100% perfect but consistent is what matters
