Re. the absurd indictment of Comey for the 8647 issue: Years ago there was a campaign in Louisville called “8664.” It was to have a portion of I-64 relocated away from the riverfront. They didn’t want to murder a highway.

Want economic development in Louisville? The biggest project in Louisville’s history would be removing I-64 along the waterfront. This would create more jobs, more increased property value, and more lasting growth than any stadium or pickleball court.

I continue to follow the situation in the Middle East with dismay. Like other regions of the world, it is torn apart by war and violence. We cannot remain silent in the face of the suffering of so many defenseless victims of these conflicts. What wounds them wounds all of humanity. The death and pain caused by these wars is a scandal for the entire human family and a cry that rises to God!

In the dramatic circumstances of war, information must guard against the risk of turning into propaganda. It is every journalist's duty to verify the news, so as not to become a megaphone for power. They must show the suffering that war always brings to populations, which entails showing the face of war and recounting it through the eyes of victims.

Public agencies, consultants, advocacy groups, teachers... all of them would benefit from having access to a digital library with explainer videos like this. Any and every transportation topic.

What do Paris, Montreal, Barcelona, and Brussels have in common? “If you look at the cities doing the most to reclaim public streets from the automobile and give it to people, they often have one thing in common. That's strong female leadership." LISTEN: thewaroncars.org/2026/02/05/bon…

@SawyerMerritt @Tesla It’s NOT testing. It’s a two door with a driver. What are they actually testing? They’re just promoting. The software is years behind where @elonmusk thought it would be, so now they have to act like they’re testing the hardware. Not buying it.

Eleven @Tesla Cybercabs are now testing on public roads between New York, Illinois, Massachusetts, Texas and California. The number seems to be growing every week at this point.

🚍 TARC Fare Update – What you need to know TARC is considering fare adjustments for the first time in 14 years to help maintain safe, reliable, and sustainable transit for Louisville. Proposed changes: • Fixed-route fare: $2.25 • TARC3 fare: $4.50 These modest updates reflect inflation over the past 14 years and rising costs with employees, maintenance, insurance and deferred maintenance. This proposed adjustment will help TARC maintain the service you depend on while continuing to invest in the transit network. 📣 Join a Public Meeting. Your feedback matters—no final decisions have been made. ridetarc.org/contact-us/boa…
