@JohnConnorWBD Tbf maybe she doesn’t drive. Is it also normal to tack on a play in the woods after a kid loo stop? Finally 540 miles on a tank of fuel or even one way in a 4x4 is impressive economical driving.

This is a developing story. Tonight the Chancellor suggested the Covid Corporate Finance Facility will be available more widely (hinting that a more flexible view as to what constitutes “investment grade”) and that CFF and CBILS will cover 80% of businesses in the UK.

What is clear is that the measures so far don’t cover a large number of businesses - those that are too big to qualify for the small business loans, but not big enough to be considered “investment grade”. Additional measures needed to help the “squeezed middle”. @RishiSunak

My colleague @jonbower is taking part in the @LandAid sleepout tonight to raise money to help fight youth homelessness. There are an estimated 135,000 homeless children in the uk living in temporary accommodation, and about 5000 rough sleepers in the UK. Please help if you can.
