Police are appealing for witnesses following a criminal damage incident in Horsham. Between 4pm on 27 October and 9am on 28 October, a shop window in East Street was smashed by a man described as having short hair with glasses, wearing a black coat and white trainers. Officers would like to speak with the man in the image in relation to the incident, who they believe can help with their enquiries. Witnesses and anyone with any information or footage is asked to contact police online or call 101 quoting serial 535 of 28/10.

Teacher shortages, recruitment challenges, and inadequate pay are jeopardising the quality of education in our schools, according to a Government report. More teachers are leaving the profession for reasons other than retirement than at any other time on record. Between 2020 and 2022, teacher vacancies doubled.
