Having worked as Johnson’s deputy in Brussels I have no doubt he knew precisely what the customs union was. It served him to pretend not to know. Because understanding it and still leaving was obviously moronic

@theAliceRoberts This is one of the two sewage plants in Copenhagen. It has the capacity to clean sewage water from 750.000 people. It's so effective that people can bathe safely in the harbour. The waste is used to make biogas, supplying 60% of the gas needed in Copenhagen. Pure win win.

Met a teacher over the weekend whose school is now waiting for 17 portacabins to replace condemned classrooms, pupils starting online until they arrive and could take until 2024 before everyone back in person. Absolutely extraordinary start to the school year.
