A man bet on a record high temperature in Paris on Polymarket then walked up to the official thermometer at Charles de Gaulle Airport with a blowdryer.
Once the thermometer hit 21°C he cashed out his bet winning almost $37,000.
Plan accordingly....

@Mrgunsngear Have these advertising employees been to their store? They literally have statues and animatronics of republican political figures such as President Lincoln and Reagan. No liberals except for the sheep on taxidermy mountain.
@Rickie_Tracker Really looks like morning light with very few patrons in place. You know before even one player was on the hole. Warm dry conditions on Friday makes sense to water a little.
SHE TOOK HER PHONE ON THE COURSE!
Kai Trump is coming under criticism, and possibly facing a life-time ban from Augusta National after posting several pictures. Phones are prohibited at the Masters! Those who break the rule are restricted from ever coming back.
Your Thoughts?
@dom_lucre This is pretty common on flights coming from India. I saw this on my B777 from Qatar to O’Hare. Coach was about 90% from India. And they had about 6 checked bags per flyer. And yes immigration dogs were indicating on raw meat frequently.
🔥🚨DEVELOPING: Chicago O’Hare Airport referred a traveler to Agriculture Secondary to have their suitcases inspected.
Officers found 11 pounds of non-human primate bushmeat.
Chicago CBP denied entry of the meat due to human health concerns.
🚨2027 isn’t the end of diesel.
It’s the extinction of the old guard.
Fifteen years of the 6.7 Powerstroke.
Twenty years of the 6.7 Cummins.
Twenty-five years of the 6.6 Duramax.
That era is closing.
Now comes displacement escalation.
Ford isn’t playing small ball.
The 6.7 Powerstroke is being replaced with an 8.0L platform.
Multiple engineering sources point to 600–625 horsepower.
North of 1,400 lb-ft of torque.
Sequential turbo architecture tied to newly filed patents.
That isn’t a refresh.
That’s a statement.
Cummins is moving from 6.7L to 7.2L.
The B7.2 platform builds on the inline-six architecture that made the 6.7 legendary.
Factory targets around 545 horsepower.
Up to 1,450 lb-ft of torque.
Compression-release engine brake.
Auto start-stop in a heavy-duty diesel … first of its kind at that level.
GM?
They’re not tweaking the 6.6.
They’re reportedly preparing a displacement jump to 8.3L under what’s being called a “Megamax” architecture.
Complete redesign.
Over 600 horsepower targeted.
1,200–1,400 lb-ft range.
It’s time to trade my the L5P BEAST!
This isn’t efficiency talk.
This is torque war doctrine.from the factory.
The emissions era forced refinement.
The next phase looks like output escalation.
Bigger displacement.
Higher boost.
Factory numbers that used to require tuning shops.
If this holds, 2027 won’t mark the death of diesel.
It will mark the beginning of factory-built muscle diesels.
Horsepower wars are back.
And they’re running on compression ignition.

@RBaileysfather@GrageDustin@jerrycurld Being extremely pro 2A is a great litmus test for American Politics. The representative is comfortable having an equally armed constituent who will hold them accountable in preserving freedoms and liberty.
@GrageDustin@jerrycurld Y tho? Like sure he is pro-gun and tries to show off with it, but what’s he actually go policy wise to wanna help constituents?
@Touchdownoflags@KYVAMIguy@jontweetssports Never said that. NIL allows universities to pay athletes so playing close to home isn’t as much of a factor anymore. Players can pay for their parent’s first class plane ticket watch them play at schools now. Before players wanted to be close to home.
@JohnJenkins84@KYVAMIguy@jontweetssports The university of INDIANA just won the National title in football and Georgia fans think that NIL and the transfer portal didn’t dramatically change the SEC’s chances.
Randomly thought about that time Michigan’s OL wore “Run the Damn Ball” shirts vs Georgia
and then rushed for 29 yards in the 1st half & a season low 91 yards en route to a 34-11 loss.
@KYVAMIguy@Touchdownoflags@jontweetssports In 2021 players can and did transfer to new schools for cash and were able to play immediately and not sit for out one year like previous. UGA went on to win the next 2 National championships.
@BowTiedRanger Roads are mostly paid for by gas tax. Property tax is your local school funding. But federal tax also fund schools. Property tax discourages home ownership amongst middle and lower income people. It also allows the wealthy to buy up family property that would be passed down.
Property tax is literally the only tax that makes intuitive sense.
A local tax based on the property you choose to live on that goes toward things such as roads, police, fire departments, etc. that are amenities directly connected to that particular property.
Meanwhile, the federal government just sends your federal income tax dollars to fund Israel and gay pride parties at the Department of Labor.
Of all the taxes, property tax is the least retarded and I’m tired of hearing boomers complain about it.
