My Amazon account just got deactivated because they said it's "related to another account" been selling for 2 years don't have another account and have never heard the account name of this other alleged account in my life. They're holding ally funds and inventory. Happy holidays

Where will the average Amazon Seller (RA/OA/Some Wholesale) be in 5 years? .....you may be wondering There are tons of points I can give here - but I’m going to stick to 3 that are solely platform related Maybe this enlightens you on why I decided to take my chips off the Amazon table and move on 3 is by far most important, so read through 1. Increasing Fee’s Why are all the fees happening? Constant increase with no end I honestly struggle to see why this is happening aside from Amazon not wanting small quantities/small sellers to plague their platform Prep Centers hate that shit - imagine Amazon warehouses Would assume it has something to do with 80%+ of problems coming from >5% of revenue generated (but I have no clue, it's just bad and will get worse) 2. Competition The marketing angle for amazon is crazy at big normie scale “You can start a 7 figure business being a complete poor idiot with no skills!1! Just go scan!” Intriguing for anyone and super low barrier to entry - competition will only get worse 10 years ago, Amazon was blue ocean - gating was hard, competition was low, wild west style 5 years ago, Amazon got HYPE with the virus shortages - people were amazed at the opportunity, things became easy Today, Amazon is hard - people are in the "this shit may not be worth it" stage 5 years from now, Amazon will have cracked down on everything - only the ultra strong will survive You WILL work more and take more capital risk to make the SAME or less money This is the nature of the game And for those of you who do not believe this - check any Amazon forum, FB group, etc. You can see sellers MUCH older + more experienced than me making the same decision 3. Amazon’s Long Term Plans Look at a massive push Amazon is doing The Influencer Program Pushing Influencers = Amazon is Bullish on Content + Brands Imo - Amazon wants to be Shopify on roids Brand oriented platform - skip shopify and go there to START and scale your brand instead (ads, influencers, flashy discounts, and I could see email marketing + mini-landing pages being introduced in coming years as well) Why I believe they are being much harsher on suspensions and getting docs for inventory as well They are trying to keep things clean Random OA/RA/Sketch wholesalers are NOT clean and make the platform unappealing/risky for brands due to the possible reputation damages (especially with social media these days) As competition rises as well, more sketchy things will happen Sellers like many of you on the platform only compete on price DH Gate fakes for $10 > OA Item with loads of coupons + hours of work for $35 The risk will be worth the reward for many people at this stage and later stages of the market They will try to overtake Shopify, and they will likely succeed Much of this is speculation, these are just the things that I have observed that have lead me to my current conclusions Maybe I am wrong, but I doubt it....
