Another night of teen TAKEOVERS in Chicago turned into total CHAOS! Hundreds of teens vandalized cars, twerked on hoods, did donuts in the streets, and beat people unconscious. Fights everywhere. Police couldn’t stop it. Mayor Brandon Johnson calls this “gatherings” while wasting $30M on his own 150-cop security detail. Disgraceful.

I want the 𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗔 𝗔𝗖𝗧 to be passed as much as anybody else does. But let's be realistic. Even if it passes tomorrow, it's not going to be in place soon enough to affect the 2026 midterms. Of course, it will be challenged in court for many months, and then you also have a lot of logistics that need to take place at the state level to enforce it. Thune has succeeded in delaying this vote to the point it is moot for 2026. The SAVE Act will be huge for 2028, but in 2026, we're just going to have to win the old-fashioned way.
