Russ Euken recently celebrated 45 years with Iowa State University. As a field specialist for both the Iowa Pork Industry Center and Iowa Beef Center, Euken's contributions to the swine and beef industry in northern and central Iowa have been invaluable. Congratulations, Russ!

4 years later & the henbit population continues to increase in this field & others in central Iowa. As a strong alternate host for soybean cyst nematode, I encourage farmers to consider a fall or very early spring herbicide app. in fields that are purple this spring. #ISUCrops
