@Stevethetortois @AezzieUwU It’s not just Islamic fundamentalism. China and Russia have also banned LGBT media. And both of those novels are banned books. Both the US and USSR banned 1984, though in the US it was moreso states themselves. The Handmaid’s Tale was also banned in many countries as well.

@Stevethetortois Honestly I can beg to differ. I could probably count on one hand the amount of right wing books that are banned meanwhile states like Florida have banned HUNDREDS of books that contain even a sliver of LGBT themes
