Took me 3 days of stinking like my coworker (I bought the same Old Spice 3 pack of deodorant at Costco as him) to realize I accidentally wasted money on "deodorant" that isn't an antiperspirant. Name a more useless product, Im headed back to Costco to get the Degree, which works.

A good deodorant will kill the bacteria that causes odor but also allow sweat to cool you. Without odor, stopping sweat becomes more about modesty. I agree those old spice deodorants don’t work, I’ve bought them. Native, Arm&Hammer etc both have Baking Soda in them which kills the odor. You can make an effective minimal ingredient deodorant with just baking soda and filtered coconut oil. Baking soda killing bacteria, and coconut oil protecting your skin from irritation.

What’s the point of deodorant that doesn’t stop you from sweating? I work the trades, and I can start smelling my coworkers BO mixed with non-aluminum Old Spice by about noon most days. I’m not even a sweaty person, even following Jeff Nippard’s routines to a T barely causes me to break a sweat, but it only took me a few hours at work to realize that I could noticeably smell my own BO when I tried a non-antiperspirant deodorant, the same Old Spice as my smelly coworker (he’s otherwise the best guy on the planet, don’t get it twisted).
