The Salvation Army is not an actually charity as you would normally think of one; it is the Evangelical arm of the Universal Christian Church. In Newfoundland, it has some of the largest Churches in many communities. Just as many Methodist and other Churches in the US send missionaries to Africa to preach the Lord's message and help those in the most need - this Church sees that need most in places like NYC and California and Miami, Austin and Dallas and Kansas City and Oklahoma City. Their US leader of "missionaries" holds the title of Commander and in 2025 had a salary around $81K. Street people in many cities abhor Salvation Army soup kitchens, shelters and otherwise because they know they will get "preached at" in return for shelter and a meal. This felon on probation throws a meltdown because her officer assigned community service at a retail store. She calls it “slave labor” and “slavery” — repeatedly. The paper she is supposed to sign, she calls a “slave document.” Demands a soup kitchen instead. “I hate this fucking country.” Zero remorse. Just pure victimhood while admitting she is a convicted felon. Consequences = slavery now. We’ve reached peak victimhood where criminals lecture the rest of us about oppression. This is how society collapses — when consequences are called “slavery” and personal responsibility is racist.

Dan Burn ahead of Harry Maguire is absolutely baffling. On grounds of form, experience, leadership, penalty-taking. Baffling.

The lady most famous for complaining about M&S staff at Heathrow Airport is now angry about a footballer whose dad moved here as part of his Christian ministry, who still plays music at his church, who captained England youth teams (& the men's team). Who's contributed more economically to the country than she (or I, or 99.9% of us) ever will. Laughable.

Harry Maguire, who is English and Northern Irish… … has been demographically replaced in the England World Cup team by an African named ‘Addji Keaninkin Marc-Israel Guéh’ born in Ivory Coast. What’s the point in a ‘national’ football team if someone who is NOT from that nation can join? Maguire should play for England. Guéh should play for Ivory Coast. Common sense. I’m sure Maguire isn’t even allowed to contest this decision because, as his shirt says in the photo below, ‘no room for racism’.

This is not a UFO. 🛸 It’s the new Presidential Palace in Nusantara, Indonesia’s future capital city, designed to resemble the mythical Garuda bird. 🇮🇩 #architecture #indonesia #nusantara

Rachel Reeves gets into an argument at a patrol station and lectures this hero about “manners”. Considering what Labour are doing to this country, I can’t believe he was so polite!

He sounds British to me, Rachel! Good for him. This reaction explains why Reeves rarely leaves her bunker in Westminster.

'So' was released on this day 40 years ago. "I think part of the reason that ‘So’ works so well was that the band was really firing off each other and we had a great sound and production team. It was compact in the process and the way it was put together." - pg 📷 Anton Corbijn, Trevor Key, Armando Gallo
