Have heard from multiple sources that Nik Khamenia has not closed the door on a return to Duke. He wants to see what the roster looks like and what his role would be if he returns. He entered the portal so he would have options. I think a return is unlikely, but not impossible.

I'm receiving some very disturbing messages concerning Duke basketball treatment with a player that bleeds Duke Blue and wants to return. Nothing confirmed, but if it is true, I'd have to question the loyalty of the coaches.

Over 1200 players in the portal and three times that many to go. Duke has been in chats and info like Boozer will forgo another season will start to come out. Duke has retained guys at a high level to date. Guys on the roster will set it in motion and the staff has had a little jump start in what will be competitive roster building.

This Duke-St. John’s game is the inverse form of Duke-Alabama last season. It was all about how Duke could contain Alabama’s unreal offense. This year it’s about how can Duke score on the mighty, vaulted St. John’s defense that the media thinks is too tough for Duke to handle.
