@ASPolice its all down to lack of funding. we must be one of worst countries in northern hemisphere in tackling bad weather on the roads. the councils used to treat the roads on a weekly basis years ago. up until November 22 there was nothing being done to make sure our roads are treated.

Following an increased number of road-related incidents overnight, we are advising people to only travel if essential. We received more than 100 reports in 5 hours as a result of 'treacherous conditions' from freezing temperatures and water on the road. orlo.uk/PE0u9
