I'm very disappointed with my app revenue, so I stopped building new apps and started focusing on marketing instead of building. People on X always say marketing is hard, but I never cared much about it. Now that I've started doing it myself, I realize it's even harder than I thought. Now I'm working 15 hours a day, and that will only increase until I reach $1,000 MRR. I still feel like I'm not doing enough, so I'm going all in on marketing. I just started improving my skills in ASO, running ads, SEO, and social media marketing. So far, I haven't seen any good results. I'm not focusing on the results anymore. It hurts, but the grind has already started.

Hey! The install count shown in the Chrome Web Store can be delayed, and it also includes users who install the extension but never actually open or use it. You can check install numbers in the Chrome Web Store Developer Dashboard under Analytics, but installs don’t necessarily mean active users or logins. To know how many people are actually using your extension, you need your own tracking: - Add analytics to your extension to track opens, active users, and feature usage. - Track users who log in through your website/backend. - Connect events between your extension and your user system. For example, someone can install the extension today but never click the extension icon or create an account, so Chrome will count the install but you won’t see a login.

Give them a $2 escape hatch and watch what happens. 🚀
