What’s crazy about this, mid last year, I met with the guy responsible for stadium production and shared a bunch of ideas. To explain organic atmosphere with some club facilitation I showed a Boca Juniors vs. River Plate pre-match clip; Club organised smoke and sporadic fireworks, fans chucking ticker tape, no music and fans left to drive the atmosphere. I followed up with a full list of ideas. Ironically, some of them seem to have made their way into Manchester United’s matchday experience. Never heard back from the club on this though.
