It looks like the newly renovated Freedom Plaza is getting even more new statues. The one on horseback was planned, but there are now a dozen more statues lining the northern and southern edges of the plaza.

July 1, 1987 I was a part of the birth of sports radio at @WFAN660, almost 39 years. Not certain, but this is likely the longest running show in history of the format. Congrats boys

NBC booth addresses Tiger DUI arrest (though that was not specifically mentioned) at top of their broadcast. Kevin Kisner: “Very disturbing. He was really working hard on his game, trying to practice and get back in shape. He signed up for the U.S. Senior Open yesterday. He was trying to do anything he could to come back and try and help our TGL team, get ready, hopefully try and play the Masters. Just a really unfortunate incident, I guess, Brad, the only positive is that is nobody was injured in the incident and we can all move forward and hopefully help him get better.”

3:35 pm: The tornado watch set to run until 7p was cancelled early. Risk of tornadoes much diminished after midday showers/storms. Not impossible another watch comes later, and not entirely out of the woods until a front passes. Damaging wind gusts may accompany front late evening. We are absolutely scrambling — it’s been a horrible week.
But I have a different count in my paper. I see 16 stories by Post reporters — circled in blue if still at paper, in black if not. (I wasn’t sure of status in a few cases.) Only 1 by the AP.
