New pinned tweet, in honor of @UnicornIncluded making it into @NYCwebfest. We're so excited to take part! More details about the fest to come. It's a roommate sitcom... with a #unicorn! We've got four short episodes live now and are planning for more. See links in next tweet.

@JoshWimble @theblcklst I think it’s slowly growing and there are a bunch of notable writers or industry people on there. But it doesn’t have the same traction or volume as X does.

Just learned @theblcklst is off Twitter. Do writers & industry follow them on Instagram or just the email list/site direct anymore?

@JoshWimble @theblcklst I mostly hear from them via their emails/newsletter. After double checking, I do follow them on both Bluesky and IG, where they seem to be active, but they rarely show up naturally in my feed it seems like.

@zimranjacob Scheduled the Thursday at 7:30 slot (or I guess 4:30 for you). Thanks so much for offering these slots, this is really cool. I usually catch this kind of post way too late and feel FOMO. Glad I decided to do a late night Twitter check!

@TeaRoseKent It would make a boring TV watch, but first thing that came to mind is some improv games that could be translated to writing: Who can go the longest writing a coherent story using only questions? Who can go the longest writing their script without using the letter P?

@andreaberting Anything new at O’Hare? Used to be my most common layover on the way too or from AFF, but haven’t seen it in like five years now.

Is screenwriting twitter still a thing? Does having a second script recommended by the Black List get me invited to a cool new secret room of screenwriting twitter?

My best writing ideas or strokes of brilliance come after 2am or on the toilet. That's it. When/where do you have yours?

@GareRick Something I watched a decent amount as a kid. I remember liking it well enough, but definitely not finding it on the same tier of entertainment as Aladdin/The Lion King/etc. That said, it's probably been a good 20 years since I've seen it... might be worth an adult rewatch.

@redroomrantings I find it too dull, if anything. But then again, I really try to stay on the screenwriter and game designer side of BSky (Twitter's where I come for all my political rage bait :P).

The Planet of the Apes musical is a hilarious Simpsons moment but also a great lesson in being creative as a group. 2 simple rules: - Never say No to an idea. The "stupidest" pitch could lead to brilliance - Leave ego out. If someone else pitches something great, build on it!

General TV writing Q: How do you come up with ideas for new procedurals? It's on my to-do list to get a new one of those into my portfolio, but I don't even know where to begin.
