@KhushieFiji I’ve never payed full price for kayo (or paramount+) basically they are not worth full price, so I run the gauntlet and cancel when my offer ends and wait. Luckily I’m not much into the cricket these days so when NRL & F1 is over I can wait it out over summer.

This won't be popular with NRL Twitter but no matter how much you love Storm being bad because of whatever past ills you blame them for - it's bad for the game for them to be bad. Melbourne is an important market for the game and a drop in interest for Storm = not good

Prices are going up considerably, that is true, but it's also that a lot of people are trying to track down very specific, very popular cars. People know that those specific cars are popular, so they ask a lot of money for them. Also, clean, great condition classics are of course going to go for more. Yeah, a 70's Ford Falcon is going to be pricy. That 71 Falcon looks in really nice condition. That 74 Falcon is going to be very pricy because it's the Mad Max car, and everyone wants them to make the V8 Interceptor. On Facebook marketplace, I'm all the time seeing good classics, like Darts, El Caminos, Mustangs, Furys, and so many other cars that you can easily buy under $10k, but these aren't going to be perfect cars, they are going to require some amount of work or you just have to live with some imperfections. But there are still good running ones you can get for those low prices, just expect that it won't have the prettiest paint job, best interior, or best engine. You want a classic? Either pay a lot for a perfect one. Pay a good amount for a decent one that you may still have to put some work into (like I did with mine), or buy pay not very much, but expect it's going to need a lot put into it. Another factor my dad brings up is back in his day, all auto shops had parts, and junk yards were plenty for whatever parts you wanted to scavenge for cheap. Those finds aren't as easy today as they were in the 70's, however, so yeah, prices to build and maintain these cars are going up, that is not unrealistic. Ultimately, yeah, as the cars get older, inflation increases, more people become interested in the hobby, and fewer cars remain available, prices are going to go up, whether in terms of buying a great or mint example of a classic, or having to pay to rebuild one. My points: It's not unreasonable. Get over it or find a new hobby if you can't afford this one.🤷
