We were Clay's largest user at one point in time, hitting their platform 17.3 million times per week. Last month we replaced them entirely with a $200/mo Claude Code subscription. I can't write code. AND An auto-refill system so clients never run out of leads mid-campaign. You should genuinely be buzzing to get back in the game. Writing content. Cooking deals. Shooting messages. Closing clients. Building. Iterating. Work should feel like a fun video game. If it doesn’t, step away and allow yourself to do nothing. Sit there in boredom and contemplation until something catches your curiosity and ignites a spark of excitement in you. When that spark hits, act immediately. The spark is your entry ticket back into the arena. It doesn’t have to be huge. It could be messaging one person or writing one idea down. What we’re looking for is forward motion and inspiration. Now, you’re back in the game. By taking one small, inspired action, you will re-enter the upwards spiral of momentum and flow. You’ll be far more productive than if you try to grit your teeth and grind through endless unenjoyable tasks. This goes nowhere and leads to more suffering. Rest until you find the spark. Let one action lead into the next. Ride the wave of it until you’re gassed. Then rest again, and wait for the next spark to re-enter the game from inspiration instead of force.
