@APMResearch Thanks for doing this. A lot more states have been publishing this data since you last reported. Would be great if you could do a state by state table. Thanks much!

@APMResearch thank you for this article. At @LawyersComm we advocated for states publishing race data and now are most are publishing some data. Would you be willing to compile this data at the state level and publish it?

Huge expansion of voting rights just became law in Virginia: -17th state to adopt automatic voter registration -no excuse absentee voting -makes Election Day national holiday instead of Lee-Jackson day -repeals strict voter ID law wjla.com/news/local/nor…

Totally agree. Have people gotten their letters at home from the Census Bureau. I did and filled ours out.

BREAKING: We’re working around the clock to protect voting rights in the #2020Elections. Following our 2/14 notice letter to Philadephia, officials have confirmed that voting machines will produce bilingual paper ballots. We’ll keep fighting to ERADICATE all voting barriers.

To @senatemajldr: According to @MemPeaceJustice, there were 168 people of color lynched in Kentucky between 1877 and 1950. The Emmett Till AntiLynching Act is a bill you should call up immediately in the Senate. History can wait no longer.
The Leadership Conference@civilrightsorg

BREAKING: The House of Representatives just passed #HR35 – the Emmett Till Antilynching Act – to designate lynching as a hate crime under federal law. The Senate must move swiftly to pass this legislation.
