@HashemMelech048 It's neither. There is no sovereign over that area, and it does not become Israeli "by default" due to military advances. Israel did not want to annex it because it would then have to either give citizenship to the locals or do a population transfer.

The Donetsk and Chrimea questions should be settled between Russia and Ukraine in negotiations and Israel should remain neutral. That’s what “friends” do apparently.

There’s no such thing as the West Bank. That’s a colonial term from 1948. Judea and Samaria are not only the heart of Israel proper both under actual international law (which unga votes are not) but also Judea is the origin of Jew. It described people from Judea. Palestine never existed so I guess no claims for it are real huh? It’s actually a perfect equivalence and respect is two ways or none at all.

Israel emptied out various munitions stockpiles the US keeps in the country for Israeli use pre-10/7 for Ukraine. This really hit them hard on 10/7 and after, when they didn't have enough munitions. Israel sent PATRIOT systems to Ukraine via the US. Israel provided lots of humanitarian support for Ukraine since February 2022. They set up a field hospital, sent armored ambulances, helmets and vests for first responders, treated and rehabilitated Ukrainian citizens, delivered hundreds of tons of aid, including specialized water purification systems for eastern Ukraine, emergency generators to address power shortages, food, blankets, and winter clothing. IsraAID provided training on mental health, psychosocial support, and distributing supplies in newly liberated areas. Israeli doctors conducted specialized training for Ukrainian counterparts on treating war-related injuries. In July 2025 an Israel-Ukraine strategic dialogue on Iranian threat was formed. Israel broke from the US position at the UN in February 2026 to vote for Ukraine and condemn Russia. Israel sided with Ukraine against a US position. Ukraine thus far has had a 90% anti-Israel voting rate at the United Nations. This issue was flagged to Zelensky in January 2023 as a bad thing, but they kept doing it. In December 2025, the Ukrainians said they'd be friendlier to Israel in diplomatic fora because they want more Israeli assistance and advice, but that's still TBD. In March 2026, Netanyahu asked for a phone call with Zelensky to talk Iranian drones. There has since been no call. Zelensky subsequently met with various Gulf leaders and inked drone agreements with them. He also inked a drone agreement with Egypt, who has been selling billions of dollars' worth of grain from Russian occupied Ukraine for years. ... The Israelis have done stuff for and with Ukraine and haven't done anything really anti-Ukraine. The complaint is that they don't do more and should be affirmatively anti-Russian even if doing so could lead to Israel incurring steep costs. I don't think the Ukrainians have some massive obligation to the Israelis either. It's not like the Israelis have gone above and beyond for them. But the Ukrainians have been on the whole diplomatically tepid at best towards Israel. And the Israelis reciprocate by being passive aggressive when Ukraine asks them to do stuff.

I translate Hebrew ones from actual Israelis... And most of those are reasonable, saying that it's a disgraceful thing to do and Israel shouldn't do it. Hmm 😐 Curious... P. S. @cba500 @UkrainianAna Eisenkot and Gantz are the two past IDF chiefs who entered Netanyahu's govt after Oct 7th in kind of a "emergency unity government" move. They were criticized for saving Netanyahu's ass, in a way, but the brunt of it was aimed at Gantz who was seen as spineless from before.

@cba500 @UkrainianAna Going from Netanyahu to Bennet is very similar to Orban - Magyar. Bennet is very much a rightwinger, but one that isn't corrupt to the core, believes in the liberal world order, and wants the best for his country, as far as I can tell.

It's not a guarantee by any means, and it seems the big merger was a little bit counterproductive, but it's likely to mostly benefit Eisenkot. Basically, the next coalition is Bennet-Lapid, Eisenkot, Lieberman, Golan, and possibly the Arabs.

I correctly pointed out that Finkelstein's assertion was not, as you claim, that you were funded by "the country of Israel", but rather that you were funded and groomed by an "Israel advocacy group". I was commenting on the nature of the assertion and not its accuracy. You distorted it, I didn't. As for the accuracy of that assertion, I am not privy to the information at Norman Finkelstein's disposal and therefore have not offered a judgement. That said, Finkelstein is known as a thorough and meticulous scholar and researcher, and a stickler for accuracy, who in my experience is not one to fling around accusations he knows to be unsubstantiated. As you well know, similar reports have been swirling around for longer about you, and it would not surprise me in the least to learn they are substantiated. But since I don't have confirmation at my disposal I am not in a position to assert that these reports are correct. I won't reciprocate your accusation and accuse you of lying, because someone who believes Erdogan is the president of Israel, that Jim Crow is not apartheid, etc. is clearly acting out of ignorance and stupidity rather than malice. As for your offer, keep your money. I am not interested in it, and my involvement in this issue is not motivated by financial incentives.
