I write about US bases in Okinawa, because as John Lewis said, "When you see something that is not right, not fair, not just, you have to speak up."

In all categories, Lower House members are far more enthusiastic than their voters about the US-Japan alliance. Japan's electoral system is clearly biased in favor of pro-alliance candidates. Before voting for anyone, I'd need them to asahi.com/ajw/articles/1…

Israel killed every single person in this photo today across Lebanon. Every. Single. One. All civilians. Over 21 innocents murdered by Israel today alone. This isn’t a “ceasefire.” These are relentless massacres of entire families.

🗞️ Leaked body-camera footage obtained by Haaretz contradicts Israeli police claims surrounding the violent arrest of a Palestinian Israeli prosecutor in southern city of Be'er Sheva, showing officers storming his apartment, pinning him down, and “beating [him] mercilessly,” despite no visible resistance, according to his lawyers and footage. The prosecutor was hospitalized and underwent surgery for a broken nose and serious injuries to his eye and kidneys. The raid began after an off-duty officer living nearby filed a noise complaint, then entered the apartment without a warrant alongside two other officers. After the family demanded they leave, police later returned with reinforcements, forced their way inside, and arrested the prosecutor along with two relatives — a doctor and nurse at Soroka Medical Center — who were also repeatedly beaten during the raid. All three were imprisoned for three days. According to testimony, officers mocked the bleeding prosecutor during and after the beating, while Israeli police later accused the family of assaulting officers. Story and footage are linked below.

It’s funny this is being framed as a whistleblower “bombshell” or new information. Kent is just affirming what every publicly available ODNI report (signed off on by the CIA, NSA, military intel, etc) has shown for over 20 yrs: Iran does not have an active nuclear weapons program

Israel is now killing so many people in Lebanon so regularly that the media has lost interest. Much like it did in Gaza.

If this won't make your blood boil, then I don't know what will. We unfortunately have school shootings in the US. But imagine if the shooter actually is a US soldier or someone protected by police. That is what these Palestinian children faced when they were being shot at and killed in their own school by an Israeli soldier or settler.

Horrific: Video shows an Israeli settler deliberately blocking the path of a Palestinian ambulance on a road in southern Nablus in the West Bank while it was transporting a critically ill person.

This, the conditions of disease deliberately inflicted on Palestinians in the camps, is a continuation of the genocide. These conditions are calculated to contribute to causing the physical destruction of a people.
Tamer Nahed@Tamer_Alnoaizy

I don’t know if anyone will care about what I am saying, but the outside world must know exactly what is happening here… not later, but now. What we are experiencing in Gaza has gone beyond the limits of human endurance. The camps have turned into a terrifying hotspot for the spread of diseases. With the beginning of summer and thousands of families crowded into extremely tight spaces next to garbage dumps, illness is spreading rapidly, as if it has become part of daily life. There is also an incomprehensible media silence regarding the scale of this growing health catastrophe, despite repeated warnings from medical teams and field workers. Skin diseases, infections, and contagious illnesses are spreading widely, especially among children, in an environment that lacks the most basic conditions of hygiene or treatment. Rats are everywhere between the tents, insects are spreading heavily and causing continuous injuries, and there are no means of control such as poisons or pesticides. My nieces are part of this reality… their bodies are covered in painful bites that worsen every day without effective treatment. The situation is collapsing with no real solutions. Medicines are scarce, disinfectants are almost nonexistent, and unsafe water is contributing directly to the spread of disease, while the healthcare system is beyond its capacity. As of now, cases are estimated at around 160,000 people and still increasing, most of them children. This is not an exaggeration… it is a complete health collapse inside the camps.
