I think Venice’s marketing around Grok 4.5 is misleading, hopefully not intentionally. This is not "fully private" as claimed in this tweet. You are still trusting xAI. There is no confidential computing, cryptography, or TEE protecting your private inputs. It is closer to an anonymous proxy: Venice obfuscates your identity from xAI, but xAI still receives the activity and commits to keep it private same as claude enterprise plans or if you turn off training on your data. That is useful, but it is anonymity, not full privacy. Full privacy means protecting privacy of identities + prompts without relying on a party. Venice does offer stronger privacy in some limited cases, mainly open-source models like Kimi, where they work with Phala to run models in a TEE. But that does not apply to closed models like GPT, Claude, or Grok. The distinction matters. Privacy claims should be precise, especially in crypto/AI, where buzzwords get abused fast.

The latest discretionary $VVV burn has been executed. At a total of $267k in VVV at time of burn, this is the largest yet.

We are the place to get good returns from selling inference credits. 20% APY now for sellers using $DIEM. This yield is driven by demand for inference. And it's happening at decent size, too. Over $100k worth of $DIEM from $wstDIEM sold out all API credits at that higher yield. And overall we're clearing all credits from over $2.6M worth of $DIEM at various prices. surplusintelligence.ai

Ok Grok 4.5 is insane. People are already building things that shouldn't be possible this fast. 10 wild examples:

So much could go wrong But the interesting question is always: what happens if things go right?

Sol, Terra, and Luna, our GPT‑5.6 family of models, are starting to roll out now in ChatGPT, Codex, and the API.

🇪🇺 Chat Control has passed 😔 They can and will now legally scan any person's messages, emails and photos you send without a warrant The way they passed this law when the majority of the European Parliament was against it will shock you: They waited until most EP members were on holiday so only a few were present and then created an "urgent" vote for it to pass it through There's nothing democratic about any of it and big powerful forces are behind this that can manipulate the EU for whatever they want Democracy in Europe died a bit today 😔

Announcing Grok 4.5, our first model trained specifically for coding and agents. It was trained with Cursor and offers frontier intelligence at leading speeds and cost efficiency. x.ai/news/grok-4-5

Name a scam that's been around so long that we don't even realize it's a scam anymore.

It's not a unique observation but AI is going to hit normies like a ton of bricks. The tiny minority of people maxxing out their usage of agents and Claude Fable can see it and it's driving us all insane. Normies think it will never get beyond writing boilerplate emails

Top 20 Startups by Web Traffic founded since 2020 1. DeepSeek 2. Perplexity 3. Suno 4. Polymarket 5. Gamma 6. ElevenLabs 7. Lovable 8. Arena 9. xAI 10. Supabase 11. Manus 12. Higgsfield 13. Cursor 14. Fanvue 15. OpenRouter 16. GPTZero 17. Genspark 18. ShopMy 19. Venice 20. Whop Some interesting observations: — Only 25% were not AI: Polymarket, Supabase, Fanvue, ShopMy, Whop — 20% were acquired — Startups that didn't surprisingly didn't make the cut: Kalshi (founded 2018), Mistral (10M), OpenEvidence (11.4M), Cognition — All but 2 are unicorns (GPTZero, Fanvue), 7 decacorns, but there's no clear correlation between traffic and valuation
