If the cost of a new 1MM Bbl/d pipeline is Pathways, a $30BN project conceived in a vastly different world that erodes our competitiveness, then I say nay. It took me 4 hours to get my 6 year old an ankle x-ray last night...we do not have to live like this, yet choose to. Sad.

Hodgson is lying about this. Construction of phase one started in 2021. Planning for the whole project began after survey work in 2013. The Major Projects Office played no real role in this.
Tim Hodgson@timhodgsonmt

Today, the Prime Minister announced that construction is starting at the Matawinie graphite mine in Quebec, just six months after its referral to the Major Projects Office!

This is exactly why we stood up the MPO: to get from permits to production, fast.

Congratulations @NYSE_NMG on this milestone. We look forward to the mine’s success in bringing sustainable, reliable, Canadian graphite to the world.

It is utterly disappointing that the Carney Liberals are giving up on the Snowbirds, destroying a symbol of our national pride which for more than 50 years showcased Canadian military excellence. The Liberals should be doing everything possible to make up for the decade they just wasted, keep the Snowbirds in the air through 2030, and make sure that they have replacement jets by that date.

EXPOSED Commons Officials confirm Liberal MP Lori Idlout expensed gifts she bought from HER OWN COMPANY to taxpayers and POCKETED THE MONEY. And she ONLY repaid the money AFTER SHE GOT CAUGHT. Idlout will fit right in with the Carney Liberals.

Today, I had the honour to meet Dr. Lai Ching-Te, President of the Republic of China (Taiwan) about Canada-Taiwan relations. Here is the readout of our meeting: #cdnpoli

Gee I wonder why the Pentagon walked away from the Canada-U.S. defence board. The media all day has even tried pretending to be naive as to why. Well they know exactly why. It’s this man right here who has been for a year purposely sabotaging our relationship. The U.S. has had to listen to Carney for a year telling the world our relationship is over.

If you think the government's push for "lawful access" is just about fighting crime, you are missing the entire plot. This is about total narrative and behavioural enclosure... Connect the dots between Bill C-11 and Bill C-22: Bill C-11 (Input Control): They manipulated the algorithms. The state now dictates what political, cultural, and independent media you are allowed to see. Bill C-22 (Output Control): They are coming for encryption. The state wants to shatter private spaces so they can track the texts, data, and dissent, leaving your home. The most probable endgame?: Corporate-state censorship. If you cannot consume independent media, thought, or even conversations, contrary to the regime narrative your tax dollars fund the messaging of (C-11), and you cannot securely communicate anonymously and privately (C-22), effective political opposition is neutralized. They are turning private global tech platforms into an automated domestic surveillance apparatus—all to protect the ruling establishment from public accountability. Don't let them label privacy as a crime... Don't let them scam you out of your freedom. Wake up, Canada.

If you are in Honda's situation - an EV built in Canada but exported into USA is penalized and subject to Trump's tariffs. Build that same EV in USA and export it into Canada and you are potentially rewarded by Carney's EV subsidy. This is all part of the decision making process for companies like Honda.
Raquel Dancho@RaquelDancho

The Liberal government has tried to force an EV transition through heavy-handed mandates and taxpayer subsidies. In so doing, they have ignored basic market realities. With news of Honda foregoing its planned—heavily subsidized—EV plant, the third major automaker to scrap EV plans, it’s clear the Liberals’ auto strategy is not working. ⬇️My statement below⬇️

The Grand Ransom™️has now been signed: a reduced & deferred carbon tax to $140/t by 2040, and the promise of a new pipeline that "is tied to Pathways", a $30BN project that is irrelevant and enormously expensive. No other country in the world is doing this to themselves, just 🇨🇦.
