In 2003, while I was in Okinawa, over 400 U.S. service members made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq. 2005, heading into Iraq, I knew over 1,200 of my brothers and sisters had been killed. 21 years and our nation has lost over 4,000. In honor and remembrance of those we lost.

We were conducting combat operations when we received word of the Iraq invasion. I didn’t agree with the decision then, and even after two tours in Iraq I still believe it was a bad choice. On this the 20th Anniversary it is time we bring our warriors home and out of harms way.
