Likewise, Cyrus was called an “anointed one” when he led the Israelites out of exile. Leaders can exhibit messianic qualities without being THE Messiah.

Also, many have asked about the Biblical timeline from today to the end. 1. The Rapture of the Church Believers (living and dead in Christ) are caught up to meet the Lord in the air, removed before the tribulation begins. 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17: "For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air..." 2. The 7-Year Tribulation (including the rise of the Antichrist, seals, trumpets, and bowls of judgment) A period of unprecedented global trouble, deception, and God's wrath poured out on the earth. Revelation 6:1 (opening of the first seal, initiating the judgments): "Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, 'Come!'" 3. The Abomination of Desolation / Midpoint of Tribulation The Antichrist desecrates the temple (or sets up his image), marking the start of the "Great Tribulation." Revelation 13:14–15 (related to the beast's image): "And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain." 4. The Second Coming of Christ Jesus returns visibly to earth with His armies to defeat evil forces. Revelation 19:11: "Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war." 5. The Battle of Armageddon The armies of the nations (led by the Antichrist) gather against Jerusalem; Christ defeats them decisively. Revelation 19:19–20: "And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who was sitting on the horse and against his army. And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet... These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire..." 6. Satan Bound for 1,000 Years Satan is imprisoned in the abyss to prevent deception during the millennial reign. Revelation 20:1–3: "Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven... And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years... so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended." 7. The Millennial Kingdom (1,000-Year Reign of Christ) Christ reigns on earth with resurrected believers in a time of peace, righteousness, and restoration. Revelation 20:4: "Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed... They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years." 8. Satan's Final Rebellion After the 1,000 years, Satan is released briefly, deceives the nations, and leads a final assault against God's people. Revelation 20:7–8: "And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle..." 9. Destruction of the Final Rebellion and Satan Cast into the Lake of Fire Fire from heaven devours the attackers; Satan is eternally judged. Revelation 20:9–10: "And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them, and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur... and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." 10. The Great White Throne Judgment The final judgment of all unbelievers (the second resurrection); the wicked are judged according to their works and cast into the lake of fire if not found in the Book of Life. Revelation 20:11–12 Be blessed!

If your pastor isn’t teaching you that the rapture is real, a third temple will be built in Jerusalem, the tribulation is a real event, and that there will be a 1,000 year reign under Jesus on earth, then you need to find a new church.

Miracle or delusional? He went on a chariot ride with a famous prophet of God, "ALL over the six states of New England." Then he hovered over his house while he watched the sunrise, with the famous prophet. His name is Brian Simmons and either he is telling an amazing truth or sharing an amazing lie. Millions of people have bought THIS guy's NEW and BAD translation of the Bible. I hired several respected scholars to review his Bible translation and they all thought it was bad. They all showed that his private "revelations from God" were not amazingly true. By now, this man is a millionaire, from selling his visions and special revelations, which include his "translation." Most scholars say that it isn't really proper to call it a translation. It's called "The Passion Translation" and you'll be meeting more and more people who use it, unless we can spread the word.

Michael Brown once asked me on the phone if I really was the best person to bring exposure to some of these problems. I told him to tell me who the best person was and I would give them all my evidence and connect them with witnesses so they could do it. I would have actually been very happy to do that. He didn’t have anyone to suggest. There is no best person. This was just a line that’s used to talk people down.
