I have campaigned against unjust wars since I was a student. I remember campaigning against the Gulf war in the early 90s. I remember campaigning against the Iraq war. And I have profoundly disagreed with the approach of the Israeli government in Lebanon, West Bank & Gaza - for decades. And regardless of any blowback or trolls (which I couldn’t give a flying fuck about), I will continue to campaign against unjust wars. War destroys. War kills thousands of children. War is inhumane. War makes a bad situation even worse. The exception to the rule is World War II. Britain had no choice. It was about survival. But the western interventions in the Middle East are all about choice. And largely due to the proxy of oil and money. The innocent civilians don’t seem to matter. But they should matter most of all. War: What is it good for? Absolutely nothing.

Whilst I applaud your genuine desire to make the County Championship big box office stuff, if it’s played at the same time as the Hundred, it would undermine the Championship’s integrity. I don’t think many people want to see some pale imitation of First Class cricket played in August (just for the sake of it) with weak squads or see squads bolstered by 2nd tier overseas players.
