@HeartOf4Strings I'm also in the old school camp. But I believe all the modern driver aids on new bikes are there because of the law, not necessarily because the OEM's want them all.

@DunkinWedd I've driven lots! Where I work we have a group of company pool cars that are all EV. MG's, Kia's, Hyudai's, all sorts. There's just no driving pleasure to be had from any of them. Also all the "driving assists" in modern cars are infuriating and sometimes actually dangerous.

@DunkinWedd My daily driver rarely does 20mpg. I couldn't care less, it sounds fantastic and puts a smile on my face like no EV ever could. To me that's worth it.

@roadcc The problem is the designs of traffic light systems do not properly consider the safety of cyclists. Having to stop and start at the same time and place as the impatient traffic is dangerous and inefficient.

Hmmm 🤔 So this bit of carbon ‘enhances performance by improving airflow’. But there’s also ‘no need for alterations to the stock bonnet’. So it just sticks on top. Of the bonnet that has zero intakes on it in that area. So… bollocks then 😂
