Results from a ground-breaking pollen-monitoring study led by Prof @JonnyPeter7 revealed the importance of developing a formal, nationwide pollen-monitoring system to assist clinicians in treating patients with asthma, hayfever and eczema. Read more: bit.ly/3RMoSwg.

Our growing SA pollen network is a diverse team of aerobiologists, paleoecologists, ecologists, air quality scientist and doctors (allergists and ENT) that provide data to @realpollencount and pollencount.co.za

After a year of revisions and hardwork, I feel very proud to share our publication on 2-years of #pollen-monitoring data from seven South African cities. This is the largest modern #aerobiological sample in the history of the country and the continent. A real team effort!👏
