🚨🇮🇪 More disturbing footage of garda aggression towards protestors in Cork is beginning to emerge. These people aren't fit to wear the garda uniform, they are nothing but thugs.

Race 6 🍟 is asked by Brian Gleeson what the “shroods” are backing today & “ZEUS POWER” was his definitive answer. We’ve taken our fill, £5,000 @10/3 was the biggest bet we saw. Result: the bogey obliges, luckily there’s a good spread of business elsewhere but we lose £7,549

🗣️Aintree Day 2 Betting Report Race 1 There’s a decent on-course punt on JAZZY MATTY, 12s into 5/1 for the clever Cian Collins. We lay £200 @ 6/1 & €500 @ 11/2 the gamble. Result: We also lay the winner but not huge. Win small but lose on the places. Level par thru one!

Losing day but thankfully we are still very much in contention and hopefully tomorrow our fortunes may change for the better. Looking forward to Ladies day when there should be a big crowd and we will start all over again

🗣️Aintree Day 1 Betting Report: Race 1 Business is steady away in the opener, could almost call it quiet! MINELLA STUDY & SELMA DE VARY are the most popular but stakes are small in the grand scheme of things. Result: we win £2,442, onwards and upwards!

It is unconscionable and illogical that amidst a global supply crisis, blockades are pushing Ireland to the precipice of turning away vital oil shipments to international buyers.

@RTENewsPaulC @CalJamieson @rtenews Bunch of thugs at this stage. They'll do what they're told. The law, is the law. All blockades must cease that should be first precondition.

At a time of a major global energy crisis, blocking fuel from getting to people who badly need it is appalling in every sense and inflicts damage on our country and on individual people and businesses. It cannot be tolerated.

The blocking of the distribution of fuel is a sinister and despicable attack on our economy and our society. This is not a lawless country. The laws of the land must and will be applied without fear.

Will be joining @thisweekrte around 1.30pm to set out why economists are not so worried about the inflation effects of the Gulf closure while energy prices remain where they have been since the attacks started. Prices would have to go a lot higher for inflation to come close to 2021-23 rates. Also, the risk of outright supply disruption for Ireland/Europe is low because little energy is sourced from the Gulf.
