We can drive a better class of tokens away from value extraction. Focus on: - Demonstrable, onchain ownership - Token value accrual Starts with you, as an investor or holder. Demand better.
Aragon.eth 🦅@AragonProject

Tokens can only be evaluated on fundamentals when they have enforceable claims on value and capital flows. Today we're releasing the Ownership Token Framework, measuring how project fundamentals map to the token by evaluating ownership, value accrual, and verifiability.

For me the best way to think about this: snorkel, don’t scuba. Diving too deep is a bit dangerous, and people get lost down there. Take glances at what’s beneath (lots of pretty fish!) from near the surface, and then get back to work. Wherever your motivation comes from (revenge, fear, competition, love of the game, learning, impact) is fine - harness it and get moving. I personally do some journaling (appreciations, write out goals, figure out what I want to get done tomorrow, etc) but then stop procrastinating and get after it.

@SSJCurrency @AerodromeFi I think any sort of analysis of price needs to be compared against ETH to be meaningful independent of market beta.

Despite $AERO only moving by 1.32% upwards in a month, the token captured +2.73M in net on-chain flows This suggests 3 things > Price discovery is still happening on CEXs > Base native DEFI investors are bullish on AERO hence their net accumulation > Net emissions in USD value, which were meaningless over the past month, have 0 impact on PA Even CEX outflows have totaled 2M At an average on-chain volume averaging 5M daily with buy volume being 1M daily at a minimum, its clear that whatever sell pressure comes from net emissions is neutered Yet another indicator that should silence the "AERO emits tokens" baseless grave dancers

Shoutout to @AragonProject for building the vKAT Armory with us ⚔️ Locking, voting, emissions, relayers, coordination infrastructure. All of it needed the right architecture. Now chain-wide incentive coordination is real and live on Katana.

When you want to build the best, you build with the best. @AragonProject has helped design coordination systems for teams like Curve, Lido, Polygon, and Steakhouse. And that same expertise is behind the vKAT Armory on Katana.

Congrats to @katana on the TGE! Also, thank you to paper hands & jeeters for giving me lots of money from exit fees. Katana has such a unique design. DeFi really hasn't seen anything like it. While the FDV may currently be lower than some anticipated, I fully expect KAT to grow continuously through the really novel mechanics it uses.

@MonetSupply Market share weETH seems to be the main headwind. How do you see that playing out?

the main confounding factors are, can lido maintain market share? (so far this looks promising) and, can lido keep expenses down, get more of the revenue to flow thru to bottom line, and distribute it to token holders? (this part not so much lol)

think lido may be getting to price levels low enough where it starts to get interesting as a relative value play vs ETH both steth and ldo throw off eth denominated cashflows. ldo's eth income is much "cheaper" rn all things considered

@lex_node Isn't it the opposite? Stripe want vendor lock-in so they create their own standard.

people mad that they didn't use x402 but this will be the fate of all these 'standards' the standards are either somewhat academic exercises or (even worse) built for a specific company's strategy but LARP as academic/neutral same goes for securities 'tokenization' standards

It was great to work with the Katana team on the first tokenized relayer. The avKAT vault tokenizes staked positions into a liquid ERC-4626 asset, acting as a permissionless wrapper around relayer delegation that automates voting and reward compounding. This turns staking into a transferable, strategy-bearing position: less overhead, more capital efficiency, and tighter feedback loops between usage and rewards. I expect more protocols to follow this direction and integrate automation into their systems.

@ChrisWillx Don’t be so dense. The men that women want have no problem getting dates. No dating event will help the men women do not want.

There is a shortage of straight men in New York. Due to a shortage of male attendees, some dating events in NYC charged women $100 and men $0, yet attendance still ran 3:1.

@RyanSAdams It's dead because, while we all believed it for a time, it was never quite there. Fortunately, we have enough examples surviving and thriving to take the lessons of what worked in the DAO space and build antifragile organisations that will soon be the titans of tomorrow.

If you're looking for reasons morale in crypto is low it's because the 2020 era vision of DAOs and Tokens is mostly dead. Maybe too early, maybe never. Crypto is currently doubling down on store of value, stablecoins, and DeFi - while getting ready for the AI money explosion.

The fixed supply meme rekt the tokenomics of so many projects. You have inflated treasuries that are raided by random proposals and are in a political deadlock over whether to sell the tokens for stables/ETH. The only benefit is the pie chart with insiders <50%

@pcaversaccio You gain an edge by being judicious in *when* to use the LLM and *when* to invest time in first principles depth-first.

idk man, maybe it's just me but most devs/engineers nowadays are simple translators not true understanders. We're drifting away from a first-principles-based world toward prompt-to-slop engineering where the prompter can't even challenge the output lol. This fucking concerns me! Too many don't understand (or already forgot) how computers work. Ask them how program memory looks and you get nothing. They don't even try since they can always LLM it. IMHO true knowledge and _first principles_ build great things, everything else is temporary slop. My contrarian view is that in the age of LLMs you gain a real edge by not going down the slop engineering route.
