@GatorRyan Same. Saw a tweet with the name before I saw any picture and was like Wait... Never know with all these eligibility rules now if I could make a comeback!

The Florida Gators women’s basketball team now has a Mallory Miller and a Moriah Murray on the roster. 2009 was the last time @GatorsWBK had at least two players with the same initials. Florida had 4 - Jordan Jones, Sharielle Smith, Steffi Sorensen and Christal Caldwell.

Gainesville friends: We are about to drive through and I need to stop and kill about 2 hours of time with my kids (7, 6 and 3) so my husband can do a work call. Any suggestions? Trampoline park or something like that maybe?

@ElDuderino_1 You’re right. Unless the players win a national championship every year forever, no way they can be legends. You’re an Iowa fan? So is Caitlin Clark not a legend? Silly argument.

Florida is as good as it gets in college athletics… No doubt in my mind Golden will have his team competing for championships for many, many years. That being said, this group was special… Haugh and Condon are gator legends 🥺

Is it too soon to ask if there is any chance Haugh comes back next season?

@JordanJones33 @cjgable002 Crazy concept, but just because an announcer says it was a punch, doesn't mean it was one. You're able to see the video evidence that clearly shows otherwise.

My mind is still blown I just watched an Iowa player throw a punch at a Florida player and it ended with each player getting a technical foul

@jenafish17 I had to turn it off as soon as I saw him collapse. As bad as I always want Florida to win in general, I’m just so sad for them!

@DES737373 @FloridaBBHour Would never claim anything close to that and he’s a heck of a coach. But I’ve watched and played a lot of basketball and I’d bet teams pressing man to man in that situation does not happen often for a reason

Florida will get questions about the decision to press the final possession. But it probably works if Lee helps Fland on Stirtz there... failure to do so left defense in no man's land on a shooter.

@JordanJones33 Golden and company usually make the right calls but a full court press there is completely insane. Who cares if we go to OT? Their entire team is in foul trouble. Did the 1 thing we absolutely could not do.

Just horrible defense on that final play. 8+ seconds left - Wish we didn’t have a guy guarding in the inbounds and instead put him as center field to help slow down exactly what happened. Man. So sad to see this season end… Such a special group of guys

@AndyStaples @MasonH39 Eh. There were almost 9 seconds on the clock… inbounds guy wasn’t ever going to be throwing a full court pass. Really made no sense to press at all but oh well 😩

@MasonH39 The age-old question. Kentucky didn’t guard the inbound against Duke in 92 and it burned them, but that’s obviously an extreme example.

That really was a perfect play by Iowa. Hough has to respect the possibility that Stirtz might drive. Condon has to stay near the rim if Stirtz drives. So when he kicks, Condon has to close out from underneath. Florida, meanwhile, did not have a perfect play.

@_PatrickSimpson Makes 0 sense. Even if you put some pressure in the backcourt, entire strategy there should be just keep the guy in front of you. And having someone on the ball for the inbounds makes negative sense

I truly truly truly truly do not understand pressing up 2. I don’t think I have ever even seen that before. Especially considering we just gave up a wide open 3 out of the press to put us in that situation

If dude who threw a punch was rightfully ejected… If Boogie doesn’t get the ball knocked out… If Brown makes both free throws… If we don’t press on the last play… Basketball is a crazy game!
