1 year into a cleaning business focused on Airbnbs. Turned my rentals into STRs and left corporate finance. Trying to grow both at the same time.

@remotecleanguy Dude I’ll never tell you that - cold outreach one of the best avenues
English

@GamerGirlGrey Yep Spring Break! All we do is Airbnbs and it’s crazy, lots of last minute activity
English

Woke up at 5:30 AM to see 2 turnovers become same day cleans when we are already tapped out on provider availability..
This weekend is slammed with 15 cleans, and I'm fully prepared to spend my day outside making sure I lend a hand wherever needed and ensure quality doesn't slip anywhere.
Onwards and upwards!

@bradncpa Hey Brad we would have loved to try an work with you but could never get a response.

I've helped 100+ service businesses between $250K to $5M ARR take control of their financial future.
If you never want to worry about taxes or bookkeeping ever again, start here:

I'm in my 40s. I graduated high school in 2002.
Facebook didn't exist. The internet was brand new.
Nobody told you to "start a business." The advice was: go to college, get a job.
Now I watch people in their 20s building real companies from a laptop and I think: if I had these tools at that age, I'd be a decade ahead.
Here's what I know after years of operating: You don't need permission to start or the "right time."
The most important thing you can do is move.
If you want to build wealth, the window is the next 3–5 years. The world is changing faster than ever. Time is the only asset you can't replace.
Stop waiting. Go after it.
English

@LoganARobison Yes my struggle is still solving problems and checking off lists in my head.

I come home from work frustrated and angry more than I should. Every dad does on occasion.
The pressure to provide is heavy and sometimes, we let our frustration boil over at our kids.
This week, I'm going to try harder. As soon as my car door closes when I'm home, I'm going to use that as a trigger to transition completely into dad mode.
Whatever was bothering me about work, can't bother me again until my kids are in bed. I can't let my kids see me frustrated daily about what's not going "my way."

English

@ken_cleans We have an STR business and I don’t even know where to start to try and implement this but I want to give it a shot. Initial suggestions?
English

People keep asking me what I actually use AI for in my cleaning business
Here's one from this week:
My VA asked me if Barry (OpenClaw) could build something that would alert her whenever the other VAs made booking changes... she was spending hours every week manually auditing the schedule
Barry deployed a service on AWS that monitors BookingKoala for changes and deployed in <10 min
Now she gets a Slack ping within 5 minutes of any change with exactly what was modified
Tears in my eyes

@darynakulya @pjmcgeary @gowithquo I consistently have my calls drop with my business number and unfortunately have to switch over to another number to get it to work.
English

@pjmcgeary @gowithquo Hey PJ - our Engineering team is on standby to resolve this issue with you live. We've tried to get in touch about that. Let me DM you as well and let's get this sorted
English

It’s 7:23 AM and on my iPhone app for @gowithquo, we have 4 unread messages before our team starts at 7:30.
On the desktop and web version though, only 1 unread message is showing.
The 3 messages that are not showing are messages that came in at 8:26 PM, 11:55 PM, and 5:56 AM.
I’ve closed the desktop app and relaunched it too, no change.
I’m sharing for constructive purposes so Quo has all details needed to figure out the issue. 👍🏻

@irentdumpsters @AlexHormozi Okay man I’ll say no to that client that is already annoying me
English

If you're serious about growing your business and have $5,000 to spend
The @AlexHormozi workshop is a million percent worth it
I've bought a ton of online courses, workshops, etc. and nothing even comes close to the amount of value I have gained in the last two days
Feeling overwhelmed but excited for the future
English

@JordanRyan2010 @AlexHormozi One of the speakers built and sold a 100 million dollar hvac roofing company
English

@irentdumpsters @AlexHormozi @irentdumpsters can you do this if you are in one market like Tampa HVAC services? If so, isn’t it harder?
It’s not like a worldwide consulting service
English

@collin_ruth89 @AlexHormozi charge higher prices
stop working with bad clients
English

@LoganARobison I just do it because it keeps us accountable for knowing where we spend tons on
Believe it or not even with this it takes maybe 20 minutes tops each month
English

@mindofachaser Haha. I’m in, even though I have cleaning business. I love the idea.
English

@JordanRyan2010 Say “yes” and figure it out.
Best way to do it.
English

Here’s some free game if you’re a serious bag chaser.
Anyone can do this.
I built a six-figure parts division off of junk that most people throw away.
I spend less than 2 hours a week on it, gross over $100K, 60% margins.
If you’re in the trades see my reply tweet.
If you’re not in the trades here’s how you can do it instead.
1. Go to local trade companies like electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.
2. Ask if you can walk through their warehouse or storage area. Sign NDA if needed. Free estimate.
3. Tell them you’ll buy old, used, or new surplus parts they don’t need.
4. Bring cash, take pictures, and write down part numbers and conditions on Google sheets.
5. Use eBay or Google to check resale prices.
6. Make a spreadsheet with what you’ll pay vs what it’s worth.
7. Go back to the owner, make an offer for the batch.
8. Most will say “yes” since to them it’s just junk they’ll throw out eventually and think of it as “free money”.
9. Pick it up, store it, then either hire a VA or list it yourself online.
The more you do, the better you’ll get. There is A LOT of opportunity here. Easily scalable.
Most of these parts will be sitting untouched for months or years.
This is your bag.
The same principle is exactly how I built this division. One man’s trash, another man’s recurring income.
No secret. No course. No excuses.
Just awareness, effort, and consistency.
There you have it.
You can start today with $0.
P.S. As always with [MOAC], see attached for proof. 🧾

English

@mindofachaser It’s going to be a crash course in understanding what these parts are tomorrow.
English

@LoganARobison I also sometimes have moments where maybe I missed out by leaving corporate too soon.
Usually it has to do with could I have managed both at the same time etc.
The freedom with family and friends is worth it.
English

A few weeks ago my wife and I toured the new Walmart Home Office campus. If you haven’t seen it, it’s incredible.
Beautiful landscaping, walking/running paths, streams, lakes, mature trees, etc.
In a moment of weakness, I told her: “Man, maybe I should get a job at Walmart again so I can work from here.”
Her response was: “Why don’t you build a bigger business and then we can have all this at our own house.”
I married up x100

English

@irentdumpsters I’m going to do everything you said in this post, let’s see what happens

If you just launched a local service website in 2025 and haven’t touched SEO in a decade…
Here’s what I would tell you to get you ranking and booked out faster than anyone else in your market:
First: Claim + fully optimize your Google Business Profile. Real photos. Real videos. Nail your service list. GET A PHYSICAL LOCATION IN SERVICE AREA. Link it to your site. Fill every field on google profile.
Second: Make your website stupid-easy to use.
Mobile-first. Clear offer. One-tap estimate request. Don’t make people think.
Third: Go heavy on social with organic video.
TikTok, IG Reels, Shorts. Use AI (Claude, ChatGPT) for hook ideas + scripts.
If a video performs? Put $1000 behind it on fb ads BUILD LOCAL TRUST. Get people searching your business name.
Fourth: Stack reviews like your life depends on it.
Ask every single customer, friend, neighbor, cousin family member etc Respond with keywords.
Reviews move the local map faster than anything else.
Then dial in your backend:
→ NAP & brand consistency
→ Local schema (JSON-LD)
→ Local EEAT: real presence, real authority
→ Entity + intent optimization
→ Local citations + backlinks from real orgs

I have a small left over retirement account from 25 years ago that has grown to over six figures.
I don’t believe in retirement accounts. I haven’t contributed to one in decades. Next month I’ll FINALLY be able to touch that money in my retirement account being 59 1/2. When you think about it logically what kind of financial plan is a retirement account. Finally getting to use your money as you want to after 20-40 years? The money outside of my retirement account I have enjoyed since my 30s. I’ve been a millionaire since age 34 (all self made). Over the years I’ve bought luxury homes, vehicles, yachts, motorhomes and more. I’ve lived a wonderful and exciting life. If I had shoved all the money into an IRA, even a roth version, I would finally get to touch it next month for the first time.
Value your life and freedom while you are young. Find a way to get there and enjoy your life while you are young.
English

@paradisemint Oh I mean like are these retirement accounts, HSAs. The actual type of account you hold your positions in.
English

I only have 21 holdings. I post the dividends as they come in. If you go back through just a couple weeks worth of posts you will basically see my entire portfolio. I keep it real simple.
Posting an entire list borders on investments advice which is illegal without a license in most states. So there is a fine line to walk there.
