The pair had been drinking at The Godfather Bar in the city’s notorious Walking Street area when they began boasting about Britain’s wartime victories. They then launched an unprovoked attack on the German man, who was seriously ill at the time. Video of the street brawl has gone viral, showing the tourists shouting and physically assaulting him in the middle of the road. The German tourist was left injured following the assault. Thai police are now investigating the incident.
