Another violent crime against an innocent citizen, by the people who are paid to protect the people.

Last night, my family and I had the honour and pleasure of attending the premier of our documentary, 'BOBI WINE: THE PEOPLE'S PRESIDENT' in Los Angeles alongside a packed audience of freedom-lovers from around the world. The documentary captures the brutality that unfolded around us the moment we began challenging dictator Museveni’s regime. When we paid Olivia Lutaaya a visit in May 2023 at the Luzira Women's prison, where she is being held for two years now , bambi she expressed her appreciation for the numerous protests and cries for her speedy release. She also requested that we continue to demand for her release from her detention. Let's continue doing what she requested of us! We shall overcome. #FreeOliviaLutaaya

What it means for @KagutaMuseveni and his son Muhoozi to be dragged to @ICC

On Tuesday, we were very delighted to meet with some of the @NUP_Ug leaders from Busoga Sub-region. We discussed matters of great interest to the people of Busoga and of Uganda generally. I implored them to remain united and steadfast in the pursuit of our struggle for freedom and democracy.

RITAH NABUKENYA💔 She was a mother of two young children who was knocked by a @PoliceUg patrol car in front of the cameras around Nakawa because she was wearing a @People_Power_Ug outfit. She was travelling to the court in support of @HEBobiwine who was at that time participated in a peaceful demonstration against the social media tax alongside @JoelSsenyonyi @IamApass @DavidLRubongoya @qataharraymond and others. We all feel that such a demonstration is not illegal. The young lady was knocked down in front of the government cameras, a police spokesperson stated live on TV . Days later, the same police spokesperson claimed that the video from the surveillance cameras at the scene had vanished and that nothing had been captured. Her family has not since obtained justice, and the murderers have not yet been apprehended! On arrival at the hospital, Ritah died,we have a full obligation to complete the mission to the liberation struggle in honour of her efforts, may Ritah's soul continue to rest in power.

Top reminder from @HEBobiwine

It's been 5 years now since the Museveni regime had our cars confiscated during the 2018 Arua by-election. Just like it continues to block us from organising or performing at concerts despite Court orders for the blockade to be lifted. The intention is to impoverish us in order force us to reconsider our commitment to the struggle. Too bad for them because our conviction is stronger than our attachment to material things. We can always get new possessions, but we would never forgive ourselves for betraying our conscience!

Counsel Alex Oringa 😭 #RIP has passed on,he was a strong @NUP_Ug diaspora member. His wife told me that yesterday morning he woke up, took tea & left for a mass in a chapel next to his house in London. After the mass, he collapsed at the church and was rushed to hospital.

What a shame that Tanga Odoi has come to be Gen. Museveni's chief election thief. Here he is addressing our MP candidate in Oyam "Take that NUP boy away". From their own primaries, Makerere Convocation, to all by-elections. Each time he is confronted, he resorts to intimidation and even worse. A history teacher who has learnt nothing from history. What a shameless bunch of people!

Standing in solidarity with comrade Toomaj Salehi, an Iranian freedom fighter and artiste. He has spent 9 months so far in solitary confinement since his arrest in October last year for doing music and participating in protests advocating for freedom and women empowerment in Iran. He now risks execution. We join the people of Iran in demanding for his unconditional release. #FreeToomaj

Today in Ngariam County, Katakwi District we attended services at two churches. The first service was at Apeleun Church of Uganda in Osogut Parish and the second at Acanga Church of Uganda in Acanga Parish. Noticeably, the levels of poverty in these communities are alarming. Many children are malnourished and not going to school. The number of child mothers is alarming. People have to walk long distances to access health facilities. The vast land lies unutilized. Where the roads exist, they're in such a direct state. I reminded the believers here that our lives comprise of both the spiritual and physical aspects which ought to be taken care of simultaneously. The responsibility to ensure that we have better education, better healthcare and more opportunities for gainful work lies with every citizen. That must begin with having a government that cares about the welfare of its people. On behalf of @NUP_Ug I delivered our contribution towards the planned construction of both churches. I am grateful to our leadership in Teso Sub-region and our area leader Ochailap Michael Akabwai for inviting us in conjunction with the church leadership.

On 18th November, 2020 our comrade Mukwaya Edward was shot dead by the military from Kyengera. As he lay down in a pool of blood before breathing his last, he put up the #PeoplePower fist, and died shortly after. He was only 20 years of age- a mechanic who passionately believed in change. Today, we paid a visit to his home in Namulanda, Wakiso District. We checked on his father, siblings and his only daughter Nangoba Margaret currently aged five. It was very painful listening to how Edward's extrajudicial killing has affected the family. Very grateful to the comrades under their umbrella #TeamKyagulanyiPlatform who looked for this family until they found them, and led the efforts to pay them a visit. May Edward's soul continue resting in peace, and may God grant that one day, he gets justice.

It's always great to reconnect and assess the progress of the fight for freedom and democracy internationally. This is a fight that we must win.

Today we met with opposition leaders and and freedom fighters from allover the world in Gdansk Poland for a round table discussion under the theme 'Rolling Back Authoritarianism'.
