@Chicago9811 @RichRaho You’re obsessed with Catholics who are obsessed with Catholics who are obsessed with the pelvis. Your recent Twitter is about 50% commenting on people’s opinions about the pelvic issues. Maybe you should look in the mirror.

@JosephJKash @RichRaho You focus on one person, Robert Barron. This is a man who stood beside and applauded as the president compared his convictions to Jesus’ crucifixion, and as he attacked the Pope. Not someone I would want to highlight! The fact remains MAGA Catholics are obsessed with sex/gays

Dedicating his first encyclical to social justice would show how much Leo, like his predecessor Pope Francis, is trying to shift Catholicism away from the near fixation on “pelvic theology,” or sexual morality, that has come to define Catholicism, especially in Leo’s home country, the United States. nytimes.com/2026/05/22/opi…

@Chicago9811 @RichRaho Here is the latest issue of Bishop Barron’s New Ressourcement Journal. First essay is a long discussion of CST. Nothing in this issue about the pelvis. Now go check out Fr. Martin and Outreach.

@JosephJKash @RichRaho I’ll ask a fourth time, what does the conservative/MAGA wing of the Catholic Church focus on other than gays/sex/abortion/adoration of Trump? What specific topics?

The canard that the orthodox Catholics are focused only on the pelvis is a nice ploy of those who are obsessed with the pelvis and want to change church teaching. Get over it and move on. These same people would probably accuse St. Augustine of only focusing on the pelvis because he wrote a few words of the many thousands of words about this.

I already gave you the numbers on Barron. He hardly never discusses the sexual issues (1%) compared to CST (15%) But his main issue is evangelization using modern technology (a great interest of Pope Leo). Burkes twitter feed is about equal sexual teaching vs CST. I think some people are so obsessed with sex that they have tunnel vision and only notice when their political opponents component on the issue.

@JosephJKash @RichRaho Take a look around Twitter, Joe. Raymond Arroyo. Joe Strickland. JD Vance. Robert Barron. Frank Pavone. James Altman. Ray Burke. I’ll ask a third time, what does the conservative/MAGA wing of the Catholic Church focus on other than gays/sex/abortion/adoration of Trump?

@JosephJKash @RichRaho I gave several examples of areas of Jesus’ mission to us and Church teaching the progressive wing focuses on. I’ll ask a second time, what else does the MAGA wing focus on except sex/gays/abortion/adoration of Donald Trump?

@JosephJKash @RichRaho Catholics who disagree with the Church’s position on some sex issues - aren’t consumed by that. They are focused on and talking about healthcare, food insecurity, migrant rights, the marginalized - like Jesus commanded us to. The MAGA wing talks about sex and condoms. What else?

@Chicago9811 @RichRaho I agree with the pope. People who are focused on changing church teaching concerning pelvic issues need to move on already. It does get tiresome.

@JosephJKash @RichRaho No. That would be the MAGA wing of the US church. Unfortunately. Perhaps, take the advice of the Pope, Joe.

I’ll die on this hill. AI models need to be trained at the individual clinician-level, not the population-level, in order to achieve widespread adoption. Physicians think about problems differently from one another, and do their work differently as well. A single AI model to be used “for all” will only be used by a minority of physicians and will be abandoned by the rest. Rather, AI systems need to be thought of as the individual clinician’s agent. And like a dog, I think that each clinician is going to have to spend substantial time working with and training the model to make it work in the way they need it to. Until I see this - a lot of this AI software is mostly hype to me.
OpenEvidence@EvidenceOpen

Until now, physicians using AI in clinic had to assemble the patient’s context themselves. Allergies, comorbidities, medications, prior procedures, copy-pasted in from the chart. Today we’re announcing a partnership with @CedarsSinai. OpenEvidence now works directly inside Epic, drawing on the patient’s full record and interpreting the medical literature through the lens of that specific patient. Cedars-Sinai is the first academic health system to deploy patient-aware clinical intelligence at enterprise scale. The clinician asks a complex question in natural language. The answer reflects both the best available evidence and the patient in front of them. Patient data is never stored after the clinical session or used for any other purpose.

Why didn’t you say the same thing about your late husband’s favorite congressman? I’m starting to see now why they took Charlie out. They wanted to take out his voice and his influence. Charlie would have undoubtedly campaigned alongside Thomas Massie publicly and unapologetically. Your silence speaks volumes Erika. The more people watch this, the more obvious it becomes why Charlie had to be removed from the equation. Charlie would have been boldly campaigning alongside @RepThomasMassie against billionaire donor Miriam Adelson.
Erika Kirk@MrsErikaKirk

Regardless of the outcome of Spencer Pratt’s race, what he’s doing is authentically American. See a problem, become a part of the solution. His campaign ads are unconventional, but that’s the point; it’s refreshing. Instead of speaking like a career politician, he’s speaking as an American who sees and deeply understands how fragile the simple things in life are when leadership fails. This is what this country is all about. Citizens willing to step into the political arena, unafraid, and challenge a failing system, much like the one that has destroyed Los Angeles. I hope moments like this inspire more Americans to throw their names into the mix, run for office, get involved and stand up for what makes this country exceptional.

@JamesMartinSJ Strong and compassionate in its rejection of cruelty and exclusion. But terms like “recognition” and “full integration” need much more theological clarity if they are to remain grounded in the fullness of Catholic anthropology and moral teaching.
