It’s not safe to throw unused prescription medications in the trash or to flush them down the toilet, where they could potentially get into the water stream. The prescription take-back program is free, anonymous, and safe. Thank you to @warwickripd for hosting this event!

Today is #PrescriptionDrugTakebackDay and Kent County Prevention Coalition is partnering with @warwickripd to collect unwanted and unused prescription medications today. They’re here until 1:30 pm and Warwick Police also has a drop box that’s here all the time.

Arthur was a #Navy best in class tinsmith; after the war he started a sheet metal business. He was married to his wife, Della, for 60 yrs & still lives at home with one of his 4 children. Arthur Prisco is truly one of the “Greatest Generation,” and I am proud to know him.

Ret. Petty Officer, 1st Class Prisco is a WWII Navy veteran who served in the Pacific on the USS Hamlin, where he was witness to historic events, including narrowly evading a kamikaze pilot, then later, the signing of the armistice.
