I thought a movie was supposed to succeed on its own merit by actually delivering the version you promised in theaters, not by needing people to buy a second “fixed” version on Blu-ray just to prove it was good I never once saw Peter Jackson begging people to go watch the extended version of The Lord of the Rings because the theatrical cuts were already satisfying enough on their own. The extended editions were a bonus, not damage control 🤷

@LothWolffe I still like it. Also thought Snyder's Justice League was solid. Batman v Superman sucks but you can't win em all. Sadly certain Snyder fans kinda poisoned the brand and it's hard to separate their toxicity from the product

I personally don't understand why it's become the norm to shit on Man of Steel. I remember when it released people had some issues with the final act of the film but ultimately it was still considered pretty solid. Now people act like it's a crime against cinema.
