@MrAzSports ASU lost to Syracuse in 2018. However, ASU beat St. John's in the First Four in 2019.

@JosephLiebman Yea I was just sticking him in the tier with the rumored guys. He's bigger but has those same defensive deficiencies. It's really more "max contract point guard that doesn't defend anyone."

@JosephLiebman Yea they should've taken Haliburton, but there were far more egregious misses in that part of the draft. Phoenix with Jalen Smith was the biggest.

@SamQuinnCBS And if Luka, SGA, and Curry are shooting guards (they aren't), they should all be ranked above Donovan Mitchell (who may or may not be better than Booker, but it's quite close).

@JosephLiebman I could probably be talked into him as a 3, but not as our main acquisition

People love Mullins because he's been there for the really bad years as well as the really good years, is a career 100/100 guy with the club, and partially because he was sorta viewed as a successor to Adam Jones, which lends him goodwill. Most don't think he's Bonds. I hope.
Tyler Sperry@TylerSperry

Mullins is going on year 8 with the Orioles and outside of his All Star Fluke year in 2022, he has hit .238 in 7 years and has declined in every majory category 3 straight years with the worst arm in pro baseball. The fans are obsessed with him bc he robs a homer 3 times a yr

@FreddieTheOsFan He's also better than the detractors ever care to admit OPS+ over 100 now for the 5th year in a row Only player in Orioles history with 3 different 15 (HR) -30 (SB) seasons 1 sb from 5 straight 15-15 seasons. By year end only 3 other players will have that

@ErikRuby @kawhi_ring @KDTrey5 Yeah, decades is wild. They had one bad stretch in their existence from 2011 through 2020 (after being 2 games from the finals in 2010).

Man… I’m so glad Durant and Beal are off the Suns… If you told me two years ago I’d feel that way, I would’ve laughed at you, but it’s clear that keeping either of them was unsustainable for the culture. Never been more ready for a new era of basketball in Phoenix ☀️

@HPbasketball At 6’11 he may want to figure out how to score from the inside if he shoots so poorly from the outside.

The thing about him coming out of the draft was how much he needed a point guard with him to develop pick and pop actions. He needed a floor general. He got Jalen Green. There's so much to like about his skillset and what he can become. Jalen Green shot 42% from the field last year, by the way.
EJ’s Waterboy@EJzWaterboy

@HPbasketball He’s a 43% career shooter because of Jalen Green getting in his damn way that’s crazy. Now he can develop to be more efficient

@BrendonKleen14 He could turn it around and remember how to be good again this year under a new coach.

Feels like the Suns will have to keep Beal this season and then buy him out all at once next summer when the 15% of the cap rule doesn’t apply (because he isn’t being stretched)
