It’s important to view national economic reforms with balance and empathy. Nigeria’s journey with the naira reflects years of difficult trade offs, where different administrations have tried various approaches to stabilize the economy under changing global and domestic pressures. Each era came with its own challenges, and citizens often felt the direct impact in different ways. What is clear today is that economic reforms are never painless, and they require patience, understanding, and collective effort from leaders and citizens alike. Structural changes take time to reflect in everyday life, and people’s hopes are tied to seeing real improvements in cost of living, jobs, and stability. No matter the policy direction, the ultimate goal remains the same a stronger economy that works for everyone, not just in numbers, but in real human wellbeing.

OBJ spent $60Billion in 8 years to defend the naira against the dollars. Yar'dua spent $58Billion/Jonathan $145Billion in 8 years to defend the naira against the dollars. Buhari spent $125Billion in 8 years to defend the naira against the dollars. Tinubu has spent $0 dollars in defending the naira against the dollars. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is making the hard decisions that will give the nation structural stability in true growth that will be sustainable. This is the true definition of nation building. The Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr President will birth a new Nigeria redefined in national growth and prosperity. Thank you Mr. President for your courageous leadership!

NELFUND started in 2024. It takes 5 years to get a B.Tech. This boy graduated in 2026. So who paid his school fees in 2021, 2022 and 2023? The moment I saw his tweet, I knew it was a political PR. How can a sane child finish school and not be grateful to his parents who paid his school fees for 3 years but be grateful to the man who made school unaffordable for him and gave him loan to pay the unaffordable fees?
OLADEPO Caleb Olugbenga@YhungProf0

I’ll be live on this X Space to share the role NELFUND played in my academic journey. Join us as we discuss access, discipline, and academic excellence. 🗓️ Friday, April 24, 2026 | ⏰ 3PM WAT Hosted by @PBATMediaCentre

Yesterday, Thursday 23rd May, after meeting with His Excellency the Governor Bala of Bauchi State, I proceeded to Madarasatu Intisharu Islam Qismu in Bauchi, where I had visited in the past and supported them with the sum of 5million naira to provide chairs and other items for the school. On visiting yesterday, and seeing improvements that have been achieved and how enthusiastic the children are, I was glad and gave them another sum of 5million to support the scholarship of indigent students. We must invest in the lives of these children for our own future and for the progress of the country. A new Nigeria is POssible.-PO

Today, I received the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate and a chieftain of the ADC, Mr. Peter Obi, @PeterObi, at the Government House in Bauchi. Our discussions centered on critical national issues, including economic recovery and the welfare of our citizens. I commended him for the visit, as engagements of this nature foster mutual understanding and help drive practical, people-focused solutions. We also took time to review the evolving political landscape and emphasized the urgent need to strengthen our democratic institutions. We jointly urged all stakeholders to rise above partisanship and place the national interest at the forefront of all decisions. #GreaterBauchi

@SoEdunOkanESita What’s wrong with you? Why are you bringing ethnicity into this situation? Your sister was not kidnapped in Igbo land, and her kidnappers are not Igbo. Her destination has nothing to do with Igbos. So I really don’t understand how Igbos became part of this conversation. Ah ah

Do Nigerians know that after the massacre of 200+ people in Kwara two months ago, the terrorists also kidnapped 170+ women and children, including pregnant wives? They are yet to be released and the Nigerian government is yet to do anything about it.
