@NYGcrush Slaytons had 76 catches and 3 tds in last two seasons. That’s wr3-4 numbers at best and Slayton is our wr2 and often called on to be wr1. Just doesn’t seem to hard to replace

In Matt Miller @nfldraftscout of @ESPN 7-round 2026 NFL Mock Draft: The Giants, with the No. 5 overall pick, select Ohio State safety Caleb Downs. The Giants also select Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion at No. 37 in the second round. The rest of the Giants selections: 105: Keagan Trost, OT, Missouri 145: Chandler Rivers, CB, Duke 186: Will Kacmarek, TE, Ohio State 192: Cameron Ball, DT, Arkansas 193: Tyreak Sapp, Edge, Florida Miller passed on Sonny Styles for the Giants (who goes to the Bengals at No. 10 in this) for Caleb Downs, but it seems like most mocks have the Giants with either Styles or Downs at 5. This also hit on need positions with Concepcion, Rivers and Ball. If the Giants can get Concepcion in the 2nd round, that would be a great value pick and a good compliment to go with Malik Nabers. But I didn’t get passing on a guard completely and taking an offensive right tackle with the fourth round pick, especially just after re-signing Jermaine Eluemunor to a 3-year deal.

@Josh60434878 @MrBaddog7676 "proven" ? My take ... Downs had an MRI and it showed a torn meniscus. The radiologist didn't wan to overall his ACL to be kind to his future football career. The combine teams had their doctor look at the films and said wait a minute, that ACL isn't looking right.

Not sure how true that is. CLE wasn’t good for him either and since CLE he’s barely touched the field. Harbaugh had him in BAL. If it was something he wanted done I’m sure it would’ve been done already.

Giants fans need to calm down. The OBJ you’d get isn’t the OBJ you’re hoping to get again. He’s a shell of himself as a player. He’s not going to be the slant and house guy he was here. I still don’t think any move is made for OBJ. There’s more baggage that comes with OBJ than just a good player and in a year where you’re trying to set the culture I’m not sure that a player you want in the building

@art_stapleton Swing tackles are not fully utilized every snap. Mbow seems like he should be in the game every offensive snap. Myself and most believe he’s an asset on the field so why limit him to basically a back up role?

@JustinPenik Everybody is just dismissive of the terrible linebacker play last year. A pair of good inside backers does wonders for a run defense. Dex seemed to be consistently doubled and there was no linebacker there to make the tackle.

Giants allowed 5.2 yards per play when Dexter Lawrence was on the field. They allowed 6.7 yards per play when he was off of it. Allowing almost double the EPA/Play is crazy too. The Giants desperately need more interior D-Line help
