@tm3188 @bobpockrass Old post, but... doesn't all for tires need to cross the commitment line?
English

@bobpockrass hey Bob quick question why wasn't Bell and others penalized for running over pit commit line and not pitting at the end
English

@JoshBertera88 @whopper014 @TyGuy9 @ScoutingTheRefs Josh, I'm not on here to prove people wrong or belittle people. He might have misspoke or misinterpreted something but his rule takes are usually spot on so it's not something that I plan to spend time dissecting.
English

@whopper014 @ESPNRefNHL @TyGuy9 @ScoutingTheRefs How was he "staying on the same side of the debate"? He's literally debating that STR is wrong. Doesn't make sense.
English

@ESPNRefNHL @JoshBertera88 @TyGuy9 @ScoutingTheRefs I was thinking the same thing when these popped up this morning. Felt like Ty was arguing, but in the end staying the same side of the debate. Ha.
English

@ScoutingTheRefs @ESPNRefNHL @TyGuy9 I just don't understand why there would be any confusion. We see it every game. It's simple, do players enter or exit the ice next to eachother, no. Bench doors play no factor in TMM. We see players all the time, enter at one end and exit at the other end of the players beach.
English

@ESPNRefNHL @JoshBertera88 @TyGuy9 Yeah, I think there were a few crossed wires and misinterpreted responses. Removed a few posts to avoid confusion there, especially without context
English

@TyGuy9 @ScoutingTheRefs @ESPNRefNHL I agree with you, but... there are scenarios that are only in the casebook that isn't public. Those scenarios aren't in the rulebook but... still apply.
English

@ESPNRefNHL @TyGuy9 @ScoutingTheRefs So what is Scouting saying? I'm not understanding, distance is the factor not where a play enters and exits the players bench.
English

@JoshBertera88 @TyGuy9 @ScoutingTheRefs Not if retiring player is within the allowed distance to the bench
English

@JoshBertera88 @ScoutingTheRefs I'll have to watch it. I only listened to the game on the radio last night
English

@JeanFrancoisCBA @Jmager_22 @ballards_legacy @NHLRumourReport So if Tor trades the 2028 pick does the 2027 pick that Boston has go to PHI?
English

@Jmager_22 @ballards_legacy @NHLRumourReport Boston agreed to receive the pick that Philadelphia will not receive. This is legal.
Philadelphia is arguing that the top 10 protection should be voided due to a condition in their trade. This is the whole thing. Nothing else

English

@ChrisHooks0223 @IcyVert Agree, just saying it's definitely possible.
English

@JoshBertera88 @IcyVert I don’t think I ever said anything contrary to that.. I was just talking about this single instance..
English

@ChrisHooks0223 @IcyVert True, but it is possible to have TMM and not have possession.
English

@JoshBertera88 @IcyVert Everyone is getting all riled up over the person in the truck messing up.. you could take a wide shot every time changes are made.. and there would be six-seven people on/off..
English

@ChrisHooks0223 @IcyVert That's technically not true, but in this situation it is. You can't have 6+ skaters 20ft from the bench and no possession, it would still wouldn't be TMM.
English

@IcyVert It’s not a too many men if no one on the canes plays the puck.. it’s amazing how many Philly fans are getting this wrong..
English

@Alexe525 @wyshynski @GoldenKnights @AnaheimDucks It's actually a race to the puck, determined at the dot. If determined a tie, icing.
English

ESPN rules analyst Dave Jackson on the decision to wave off icing on the @GoldenKnights 3rd period goal vs. @AnaheimDucks:

English

@bobpockrass is this rule still implemented? Or is it just pit road exit? I guess my question is, is the start/finish line still active?
