@CinemaShogun All people have to say is “I personally don’t like this” just like it’s okay for left to not like Floyd jokes. For me personally there’s a difference between cheering right after and a roast a year later with jokes about multiple dead people. Kirk isn’t special

@CinemaShogun Tony hinchcliff also made a Charlie Kirk joke but I guess that’s okay because he has the right politics. Also all the jokes about Pete’s dad are okay I guess. A joke can get made about anything. It’s up to the person to decide what they don’t like.

People have been mocking Charlie Kirk’s death for 8 months straight and when someone speaks out about it they’re told they can’t handle a joke. We’ve been told that making fun of Erika Kirk after her husband was killed is fair game as we watch clips of people impersonating her go viral. Pete Davidson made fun of Charlie Kirk’s death during the Kevin Hart roast and these people laughed and cheered. But suddenly all of that “everything is fair game in comedy” energy flew straight out the window when Tony Hinchcliffe made a joke about George Floyd. Now BLM is out here ready to start a riot, burn down a Wendys, and loot a Best Buy all over a joke. Funny how that works.

@JoshDenny This is just inaccurate. I’m not claiming they’re promoting family values but they aren’t devaluing those actresses because they have families. Seyfried was in one of the biggest movies this year. Woll was in daredevil which is currently one of the biggest marvel projects

I think it’s interesting how Hollywood is currently and simultaneously demonizing sex workers while refusing to champion, elevate, and promote married mothers. Every show that portrays sex work has a negative connotation to it, and yet they don’t celebrate the actresses that have traditional family lives. Amanda Seyfried, Hayley Bennett, and Deborah Ann Woll seem like “afterthoughts” because they all went the marriage and kids route young. They’re incredible performers. So Hollywood is literally saying to women “if you have a family we can’t sell you,” but don’t you DARE try to sell yourself.

@ChrissieMayr I’d just ignore them. All you can do is say what Jeremy did was wrong and that’s all you’re going to say on it. Then move on and do your thing. Struggle sessions and lynch mobs only work on those who give them attention

@RynoRaging I’m sick of all this shit. I’ve thought quartering was a piece of shit for years. Kino casino is annoying. I unfollowed its of this community because I couldn’t take the nonstop negativity. This drama has made me unfollow the rest. Everyone involved are assholes to some degree

It’s getting absolutely ridiculous and it’s so simple… 1. Jeremy had jokes told about him (which kind of revealed how much of a creepy weirdo he is.) and he decided to false flag the channels talking about him, mainly the Kino casino. He won’t clear his name or even address it despite there being a plethora of evidence pointing to him as the flagget. 2. Melonie Mac backed him via Twitter, laughing it off on stream (“just SJWs”) and also refuses to even acknowledge it and as a result she sweeps for Jeremy and supports the false flagging. 3. Chrissie had Mel on stream (no one cared that Chrissie was hosting Mel, in fact I think most were excited and happy because they wanted answers from Mel because nobody has actually been able to ask Jeremy or Mel questions about the false flagging and EVERYONE wanted answers) Chrissie swept for Mel by whispering superchats, dodging superchats, actually answering superchats for Mel and not even addressing the actual issues. The chat didn’t care that Chrissie didn’t want to do that type of stream, they wanted answers and they thought Chrissie would have the balls to be that person for them. But Chrissie didn’t care and as a result the chat turned on her and then the revelations of Chrissies lies and frankly disgusting gaslighting behaviour was exposed. Everyone is getting angrier and more frustrated with the bullshit gaslighting answers and continued lies, that almost immediately gets exposed. Now all people want is some accountability from each one of these people for their own INDIVIDUAL actions, lies and (how it all started) the FALSE FLAGGING! It’s literally that simple! No one in the content creator space can stand for this! How could you possibly stand for it?! Also, no one could possibly think that the fallout for these 3 individuals is anything but the consequences of their own actions and not even close to the same thing as cancel culture. Also, the narrative that it’s just guilt by association is bullshit as I pointed out each individual person has something to answer for, INDIVIDUALLY! These narratives are so pathetically ridiculous that you’ve gotta be retarded to even think it based on the evidence. Most of the audience are angry and they will determine their futures. But remember the internet never forgets! #TheQuartering #MelonieMac #ChrissieMayr

This is incredible. These two said a joke about Charlie Kirk in Kevin Hart’s roast was inappropriate, then seconds later got triggered when Piers read out a statement from George Floyd’s family objecting to a joke made during the roast. "Why do we care what George Floyd’s family says?"

@CBHeresy Those are not remotely the same thing. One is comparing the reactions of two different racial groups to a racial slur whereas your example is making a sexual remark to a grown woman ve a child.

Not all slurs carry equal weight, and even the same sentence can vary in offensiveness based on context. For example, saying “nice ass, baby” will get you a smile when speaking to a stripper at a club, but will get you your ass kicked if said to a man’s 9 year old daughter.

Yet another woman who appears to be a nurse joined the TikTok dancing trend mocking the assassination of Charlie Kirk. In the comments, she wrote: “I got a few upset folks but the fun people outweigh it all lmao,” and said she plans to do it again, but “even better.” She also suggested she may pretend to be “Erica.” You know what to do!

@filminwitfrends @I_amMukhtar Tony hinchcliff also made a Charlie Kirk joke but I’ve yet to see any right winger comment on it. Is it okay to make a Kirk joke if your politics are good?

@filminwitfrends @I_amMukhtar So jokes about someone’s death are okay is said person is a scumbag. What’s the criteria for saint and scumbag that makes it okay to joke about their death? Kirk and Floyd are easy examples but going forward we need to know so we don’t offend pearl clutching right wingers

@NJBeisner I’m generally in agreement with y’all rather than Dave and co but this pearl clutching over jokes is sad. You don’t decide what a joke is. You may not find it funny or in bad taste but that’s on you. You dont get to dictate what is or isn’t a joke for everyone else

Here’s Dave Smith today calling Pete Davidson’s Charlie Kirk comment a “hilarious joke.” Fuck this guy. It’s one thing to say he has the right to say it; it’s quite another to say it was hilarious. And fuck off with comparing Charlie Kirk to George Floyd.

@MajToure Unfortunately yes. If you get rid of consequences you’re limiting freedom for others. When we discuss free speech in terms of cancel culture it should be framed as free speech culture rather than any sort of laws or restrictions

The evidence against Murdaugh for the murders was most certainly NOT overwhelming. I watched every minute of the trial. There was reasonable doubt everywhere. And the jury was thoroughly tainted by the weeks of testimony of financial fraud, for which the evidence IS overwhelming, but which is not murder.
Amy Swearer@AmySwearer

It's a shame the clerk was so devastatingly moronic because the evidence against Murdaugh is overwhelming. My fun conspiracy theory is that Murdaugh knew acquittal was a long shot and bribed the Clerk to act in a manner that would preemptively undermine a guilty verdict.

@CBHeresy Your overall point is correct, I’ll just argue a detail. That wouldn’t get your ass kicked. Shitkicker, goat roper, hick, etc would more likely get your ass kicked because it’s a derogatory way of calling them what they are. Saying f*ggot in a gay bar will start a fight.

No you cannot attack someone for calling you a ‘n*gger,’ but I also know for a fact that if I went to the rural western town my wife is from and started calling the cowboys in town there ‘f*ggots’ they would kick my ass and I wouldn’t be looked at favorably if I shot one back.

@The_Kyle_Mann Not sure why Star Wars fans would get offended. To me any order of the OT would be okay. Now if you started ranking Disney stuff or prequels above OT then it’d make more sense. At least as much sense as anyone getting offended over someone else’s preferences can make
