Brown had rescued the economy and got it growing again in record time - then the Conservative - Liberal Democrat coalition introduced austerity and the economy stumbled & stagnated before Truss tried to kill it off for good.

The NPF meeting this weekend was a significant moment for the party in setting out their policy intentions ahead of the general election. We fought tooth and nail to deliver for LGBT+ people, but whilst we made huge progress, the battle for true equality is never over.
