@MariaGlymour @TimothyLash @eschisterman1 We do that with @JECH_BMJ and the other journals in the @bmj_company. Easy to extend it to all journals on the same submission platform (ScholarOne in our case). Trickier across platforms, but could use a certification + direct transfer system if publishers were willing. Big if.

Why don't more journals have automatic arrangements to use previous reviews from other journals when evaluating papers? It is so hard to find reviewers, and the current system wastes a lot of people's time. @TimothyLash @eschisterman1

Open Access is also about research integrity and transparency. Here's a summary of the Transparent #PeerReview pilot in @Publons for @WileyOpen and @ScholarOneNews: buff.ly/2XaGNRY. @WileyOpen started with 1 journal expanded it to 11 to see 83% of authors opting in.
