@KonradKrze @visiblecare while @visiblecare figures itself out, a VoIP app works independently of your carrier plan. I run zippcall.com. It lets you top up credits and call any international number without a subscription. Might be worth having as a backup while you fight for a fix from them

If your carrier keeps stonewalling on international calling, a VoIP app bypasses that entirely - I run one called zippcall.com or viber and talk360 all let you call real intl numbers. Worth trying while you wait for support to respond.

@levelsio @Cloudflare I moved from Resend to SES, just got AI to setup Plunk on my VPS, took maybe an hour wasn't much effort at all. Biggest thing was getting prod access with SES but just takes a couple tries, just got AI to write the requirements for that too

✉️ Trying @Cloudflare's new Email Sending feature today If you send 1,000,000 emails per month: - Postmark: $1,206/mo - Resend: $650/mo - SendGrid: $600/mo - Cloudflare: $354/mo - Amazon SES: $100/mo So Postmark is now by far the most expensive email provider And SES and Cloudflare are now the cheapest email providers I know my friend @marckohlbrugge is trying out SES now so I'll try Cloudflare and see how it is, SES is cheaper but Marc said it takes a bit more managing, and since I already use so much Cloudflare stuff it's nice to use them for email too With AI especially all of these are just as easy to use and setup in your app/site so economically it makes sense to go for the cheapest, because email is just email, it's all the same and deliverability is good with all of these I think TL;DR email sending has become a commodity!

It now does 3 things: - remembers the last country called - shows the 3 most recent countries at the top of the country selector - allows pasting of phone numbers in any format

@JoshMead @zippcall @JoshMead feature request if you don’t mind: the app should remember the last country called so it is pre-selected. I would assume most users call the same country, so it would be great to avoid searching for the country every time.

Today I made a new free open source app called [ ☀️ XDR Boost ] for MacOS Before I use Vivid to make my MacBook Pro 16" screen brighter, it uses the XDR feature to pump the brightness to its physical max (and yes it's safe) Problem is Vivid is buggy, I close my MacBook and if I open it next time, Vivid says it's ON but it's not bright, I have to then switch it ON and OFF and ON again, and it's annoying, many people have the same bug but they can't fix it So I asked Claude Code to just build my own version of Vivid and it took 5 minutes Now my screen is bright forever! @levelsio I’ve been doing the same in Morocco recently, just walk in, no appointment needed. 5 minutes tops and you walk out done. Results the same day or next day. Morocco is a bit closer to Brazil if you ever want to try it!

I was never able to do blood tests when I asked for it in Netherlands Doctor asked "why? you're not sick?" Then I tried in Portugal (at Germano de Sousa) but they never picked up the phone or when they did were so slow and unhelpful I gave up, they also require a doctor prescription btw The first place I could get my blood tested was Thailand in 2018, I just walked into Bumrungrad and asked for it, amazing experience Last few years we just fly to Brazil and do it here, the nurse comes to your home/hotel at 8am and takes your blood, same or next day results online I find it funny I keep having to fly out of Western Europe to do blood tests, they make it impossibly hard to do them Which is retarded

@s36tic @tropianhs Google voice is very US only focused tho, you cannot use it from a lot of other countries and outside the US where it does work you need a paid workspace plan
