New Marquette poll has 48% of Dem voters undecided after Rodriguez dropping out. I can say anecdotally this checks out as many are not paying attention and/or have not seen amount of the candidates.

Re: WI Gov race—time to wrap up the drama guys. The only people who know what you're all sparring about are political people. To the normies, it looks like petty office drama that they have no context on.

It also speaks volumes that Bernie and AOC haven’t endorsed Hong yet. Even they know she’s cooked in a general election and they don’t want to waste political capital backing a future general election loser in a primary.

The Wisconsin governor chaos was wholly predictable. We’ve seen this movie before with the GOP. When a party’s base decides they’re done with the establishment, it also means they stop trusting their signals on who can win. Hong would never have sniffed the nomination in 2018.

Democracy can be messy sometimes, but it’ll produced a season candidate. The GOP let Trump pick their candidate, and are trying to astroturf him with the backing of a handful of wealthy donors.
I just wish the DGA and the state party were more aggressive in the race against Tiffany.

What I would say to all the people whining about David getting back in the race or who is conspiring or who is endorsing is … follow Fran’s example.
She’s not whining. She’s saying she’s gonna go win.

I agree with David on this. We need a coherent national policy regarding “AI” development because China is trying to win this race at all costs.
Data centers are an issue but they must be addressed openly with accurate information and accountability.

This is concerning. For the first time, a Chinese model Kimi K3 has taken #1 on the Frontend Code Arena and is scoring at or near the frontier on other benchmarks. Meanwhile America is tying itself in knots: politicians and bureaucrats are banning new data centers, piling on state regulations, and pushing for new federal agencies to pre-approve frontier models. This is how you lose the AI race. The rest of the world won’t play by our rules if we bog ourselves down. Permissionless innovation is how America won the internet and became the technological envy of the world. We can do it again with AI -- while addressing risks in a targeted way -- or we’ll watch our lead evaporate.

Also a notable Dem flop this cycle bc they expect Steil to run for Senate in 2028 — you ideally want to throw some dirt in the candidate’s eye and burn his reserves before he goes statewide

WI-1 (Paul Ryan’s seat before Bryan Steil held it in 2018) is kind of like OH-10, the Dayton seat held by Mike Turner (R). Could/should be competitive in Dem years but haven’t been.

@Superpowamario No. The Never-Ending Pasta Pass is only for use by the Passholder whose name is printed on the Pass. Passes are personalized and non-transferable. Passholders must present a valid photo I.D. along with the Pass at the time of ordering.
