@Kemparelli Keon needs to settle at prop. That's where he is best suited. Now he needs lessons on removing that annoying skip from his run and just cart the ball up like all good front rowers do!

Whist it’s all about Latrell. He had a great support cast. Keaon once again huge in the middle. Aitken strong at backrow. Hubner starting lock. Even Arrow at prop. Whilst it was a poor first half many of the young guys turned their game around.

Just quietly, South Sydney are 5-1 when Jamie Humphreys plays this season, They are 0-4 without him. The rookie halfback has a tick over an 85% win rate at NRL level. #NRL #NRLRabbitohsBroncos

@FOXNRL The grovelling over latrell is tiring from the commentators they’ll reduce his mistakes and amplify his decent moments. They beat a pitiful broncos not a red hot storm or panthers let’s not forget that. Grubby move to finish off the game but you can’t wack him or a penalty

@Kemparelli I hope Jye gets some time at the halves. I'm with you. We need a FB who can connect with our outside backs. That swopping FB plays to put wingers over has been a mainstay of our attack. It's all gone now!

Thank you @NRL_Bulldogs fans for making yesterday such a special occasion. Filling Accor Stadium and creating such a wonderful atmosphere was just magic. The colour, the noise, the support for the team, made it a day to remember. The players greatly appreciated it, and they responded accordingly. Hopefully you enjoyed the day and you can find your way back to eexperience more of our home games. The players love seeing you there. The Bulldogs are a club like no other, because of our fans. Thanks again. See you next time. 💙

@DaveRic1 @NRL @telegraph_sport This will end in tears, it’s a third world country ffs. Anyone thinking this team will be playing out of PNG in 10 years doesn’t know Australian RL history.

@paulmac_78 Same here. Its going to be quite the social experiment. For me, just to get kids off the streets so they can get into the team's pathway through school will be a win! Many wont make it but they will make it in other areas of life through education!

Proud of my sport for admitting PNG. I know it will have its challenges but nothing that can’t be overcome.

@suthodan The player who wants to earn some money, experience life in another country and most importantly one that believes the game of rugby league can play a small part in PNGs overall development. Not everyone shares your narrow views on what the ideal life is!

Why the FUCK would any NRL player move to PNG knowing they have to live in a purposely built security compound? This PNG thing is the biggest farce And we get to pay $600 million for the privilege

Australia and Papua New Guinea are united by our love of Rugby League. This is why I am delighted to announce the Australian Government is supporting a PNG team to join the National Rugby League competition from 2028. The new team will belong to the people of Papua New Guinea. It will call Port Moresby home. And I know it will have millions of proud fans barracking for it, from day one. Our Pacific Rugby League Partnership will also deepen Australia’s sporting connections more broadly in the Pacific. We are the nearest of neighbours and truest of friends. As Prime Minister Marape has said, Australia is Papua New Guinea’s security partner of choice. We are honoured to carry that responsibility and to reflect this across the length and breadth of our relationship.

For those who remember the introduction of a New Zealand team, the Warriors, 30-years ago, a Papua New Guinea team in the NRL will be beyond next level. The significance of such an historic moment cannot be overstated. nrl.com/news/2024/12/1…

Paul Vautin .. Champion bloke … One of a kind … I’ve always said about Paul, that it takes a smart man to play the fool … Paul had the smart football brain, but was able to entertain the masses with his humour and unique personality .. He made football fun … Through the Channel 9 Footy Show and his individual commentary style, Fatty sold our game to millions of people over the years … It was an incredible example of talent recruitment when Channel Nine Sports Boss Gary Burns decided to employ this bloke to be the face of rugby league TV … What a masterstroke … An outstanding career as a representative class player, Manly Premiership winning Captain, legend State of Origin Coach, Prime Time TV show host, outstanding commentator, comedian, genuine true-blue Aussie … Well done Fat … Best wishes to you and your family for many happy years ahead … @wwos
