Just a bizarre reality of the I-states is that there are entire townships with
- 0 non-farm businesses
- 0 surface water
- less than 300 people
and you likely can't afford to live there
@ThatGuyTaylor8 It’s been a great tractor . She’s got 6700 hrs on her. I put all the NH3 on every fall with it. When I was a kid I always wanted a JD 4960 though they were so sweet.i grew up on 4430/4840 Jd
@JoshSchick3 That 535 right there was the IH 1206 of my Youth!
The Case Ih STX 500, 530, & 535 Models (neighbor had 1 of each) were my Youths Version of the 1206, 1456, & 1566.
Can’t Beat the Cummins that was in those 3 Tractors. Know Quite a Few Deere Guys had those in Quad Tracks.
@_TheMizzouTiger@BenPeter69@DavidKillins It’s good for him to work for other people. My dad had all my brothers and I go learn a trade so we had something to fall back on if farming fails. To always work on a farm and not learn other things isn’t good.
I find this kinda funny cause he’s basically playing in an iPad. Flat squares with Autosteer and buttons. Monkey work. And on top of that he’s probably on an iPad watching utube vids of himself via dad post.
@_TheMizzouTiger@BenPeter69@DavidKillins You haven’t a clue. My son works for multiple other people helping with organic, livestock farms working for other farmers because he’s know the value of a dollar.Getting to run tractors is the best part for him. You judge off one video and have no idea.
@BenPeter69@DavidKillins Why because I say the quiet part out loud. Society sees farmers crying about prices while posting videos of their kids in $600K equipment while cashing subsidy checks. Meanwhile kid working two jobs so his family can afford food and utilities.
@_TheMizzouTiger Do you think I would post that if he was playing on iPad? Absolutely not, so he pushes the auto steer button. That’s the same thing right. Why don’t you try to post something positive once in a while
